FYI I looted the Selunite idol before the nightsong quest, but what I did was keep it in my TAV's inventory. After SH spared the Nightsong, I passed it to her inventory, and it triggered the dialogue. :)
A note about the devilfoil masks, they're great for fighting Gyrm (the big golem in the forge) as it's pretty much immune to magic but weak to bludgeoning. Using the masks on your entire party with bludgeoning weapons means you can kill it within 1-2 turns without the forge hammer; great for getting the achievement.
I mean honestly in something like a tactician run, since re-specing is so cheap, you could imagine a case where turning every one of your characters into melee monsters might be of benefit in certain fights. Keeping Devilfoils might not be a bad option. The explosives aren't all that much better than regular grenades and oddly, the actual explosives you can pick up from the only Orthon in the game during combat are worlds better.
@@Luckmann I have heard that you can meet her later at the blushing mermaid tavern, but I won't be able to confirm that until I get there. I am however almost done with Act 2 so it shouldn't be too long before I can give a confirmation.
@@ramirobotanacastello9771 I have! However I do not see her in the main 2 floors of the Blushing Mermaid. I'm going to check below as well to make sure that she's not in the basement area so that I can be thoroughly sure that she's not in the building. After our last encounter I imagine she's still going to be somewhat hostile, so I'll have to keep my eyes out for her and if I do see her again I will make sure to update!
If you cast sanctuary on Ellyka she doesn't show up dead in the githyanki creche, i think you meet her again in the blushing mermaid, but there is no bonus for this
I knocked her out before she could ever go to the Creche, so she never showed up dead in the cell. I'll be able to confirm whether or not we can meet her again in act 3 once I get there.
Barcus interaction being restricted like that is such a bummer, I mean who even goes and finishes grymforge before dealing with the goblins? This game has so much of this sort of stuff, wild
The Umberlee bless seems like it only works one time for the entire game. After doing Long Rest, I tried to give it again to my party members but it never activated again on them, but still worked no problem for other companions who were getting it for the first time. Don't know if that's an unintentional bug brought by new patches or if it's an intentional nerf by Larian.
Could be a perfect, but it could also be because of something else you did. Did you complete the Iron Throne quest, kill the dwarf for the Umberlee priestesses, or enter their cave?
I've always wondered if Circuitry Interface from Gloves of the Automaton will let you equip the comically large weapons from certain disarmable NPCs. They're not equippable by humanoids, but if you're a construct and not a humanoid, there should be no problem. That being said, that's where my knowledge ends. If you're both a construct and a humanoid, or if we just aren't allowed to equip them regardless, which is the greater likelihood, that's a problem with my idea.
There is this nice article that has a table with all the allies, what they do and how to obtain them. Just look up "all possible allies bg3" and it's the article of the site "TheGamer"
At 5:46 you said the Adamantine Shield sends targets reeling when you're hit, but the item description is literally the opposite of what you said. You send targets reeling when their attack misses you
I like the Ring of Protection, you get it from Mol in the Druid's Grove in exchange for you stealing the Idol of Silvanas and giving it to her. It can be a bit tricky do steal it without either being caught or causing the druids to go kill all the tieflings unless you are fast enough to fast travel out of there.
Throw it down by the bear after you finish investigating kahlga. This will trigger a dialog where you pay like 700 gold for damaging it. Havnt tried it in a fog cloud so it coukd be free. This is only if they see you throw it. Then just go pick it up. Nobody attacks. Plus u can pickpocket it back from Mol after.
If you uncover Kagha’s Shadow Druid treachery and confront her and kill her, then using Fog Cloud or something similar to steal the idol + passing any checks when possibly confronted for stealing the druids won’t massacre the tieflings. No idea if it works with only confronting Kagha and making her change her ways as I haven’t tried it.
id say you left out the club of hill giant strength and the titanstring bow. when used on say a high dex character like a gloomstalker assassin its strong and saves on potions.
How traders perceive you, depends on how much gold oyu have gifted to them or its equal in items, around 600 per trader, in general, not really worth it
If you respec to lvll 1and then donate it takes much less. Like 300ish to get max favor. Always do this with traders in act 1 that end up in 3 like dammon.

With the devilfoil masks, you can also turn then in to Dammon at Last Light, and he can create Orthon Explosives out of them

the club rick made this whole video, that is brilliant
The club shall be insurance for my honor run
And the fact I never learned water bless reflects on my irl character rip
seriously, I would have never thought that's what happened when I found myself wielding a club for no reason lmao
hahahah that club trick is amazing, love it
6:50 there is a unique dialogue as a githyanki when asked about her death.
6:46
I managed to save her by knocking her out and taking out the whole of the Creche. I don't know if I'll run into her ever again, but she is alive.
So her corpse don't show up later if you do that?

1:25 shadowheart herself doesnt have to spare her, she just needs to be let free by anyone

"She must be spared by shadow heart" nuh uh I killed shadow heart in act 1 on my solo urge playthrough and I had no choice but to spare the night song
… gonna use that club and try to get the weapon from Wyll’s dad…

Awesome I have subscribed to your channel for my next
Can you wield the minotaur club when considered a construct?
???!
why you didn't show us the hidden dialogues ?
yeah was looking closely at the video for that, it shows the dialogue for the shrine but not the idol, and isn't exactly highlighted in the video

It depends on your charisma modifier too. Once you’re like 20 in stats, the items get like 47% discount.
nice video!
“Fight” the creature that appears 😏
non of this is hidden
