I've just been raising squid in the fish hatchery and selling them, as well as mining in the safari and selling the jewels to make a lot money but now I'm definietly going to try this method out! Thanks so much ^^
This is super helpful! I practically dropped this game because of how difficult it is to accumulate money and make any sort of progress compared to other HM games, but this will make it more fun. Right after I save up 40k for the sewing studio.
plus the 10k to buy the sheep... I dropped this game too, and pretty early on, and am not convinced if its worth grinding so much. Honest opinion, is it worth a full playthrough? (no spoilers please) thank you

Little addition: you don't actually have to wait until next spring to get turnip seeds if you missed getting them. It definitely is the most reliable method but they do crop up as a reward for shipping requested items sometimes. I'm not sure if that can happen before winter but winter is still earlier than spring I guess.

The best way to make money in Trio of Towns is to get the dairy factory and use milk to make butter and then butter and eggs to make omelettes and sell them. If you don't have the dairy factory yet or can't get it yet then make pudding which only takes milk and eggs.

Im going tomorrow to my local GameSwap to see what I can trade and see if the have it lol!:) I had two digital copy's of HM moon games on 3DSXL HM a Tale of Two Towns and A New beginning I got them on sale to:) But I ended up trading my 3DSXL back to the original 3DS and couldn't remember my Nintendo Password to transfer, and my friends mom was trying to hurry us up, So I ended up losing those two games that I miss now! All my friend, and 419 street Passes! Could I add you on 3DS?:) Thanks for the helpful tips for when I have the game:) But I do have one question about this, How on earth can you make more money then you spend to get the machines in order to make the money?
I really don't understand how to make gifts in the game. Can someone help me? Can't Do anything instead of talking with the people. (I'm at the first month in the end)
My advice is to collect rare minerals from the safari in advance (you get the safari pretty early) use the hammer on the mining area once a day until it says your should stop mining. Do this until the day of the ship off and then sell all your rare gems then and there.

I accidentally got rich off golden flax and made the game boring for a bit so I put myself into imaginary debt

there actually are jumping spots around town and there is a small chance turnip seeds come out so you could try that

I think some other people mentioned they sell gems as well, so that seems to be a good method too! I hope this one helps you :)
