I ordered a Pocket Piano February 20, 2024, and it still has not arrived five months later. I’ve been told that it is supposed to arrive at the end of July. Guess what? It’s the end of July and no sight or word of it!!!!

Me too. I purchased mine on January 26, and all I ever got from them was lip service. I purchased mine through PayPal, and I think they were just baiting me until it would be too late to get my money back. I expect to have a full refund soon. They are thieves.

I just saw a video with a different company's implementation of this idea. The RUclipsr who demoed that keyboard calls himself Cuckoo... you can find it. I think there were bigger sections, and they used some sort of latch, instead of magnets, to attach the sections together. I suppose, at a hotel, you would use the desk or ironing board as the keyboard stand, so magnetic connectors would be fine on a flat surface like that. I've seen other attempts before, at various price points. The "holy grail" is a durable and reliable keyboard with consistent and full-range dynamics, with reasonable cost and weight, and can fit in an airplane's carry-on storage.
It would be interesting to try them side by side, the sectional keyboards. Maybe at a future trade show or event. Thanks for presenting this video also in English.

Without the strings inside i guess this will not come as weighted.

They might need some sort of folding stand for this. A hotel room might not have a large enough flat surface if you want to use all 88 keys.
Action kind of clicking, and noisy. Maybe its just coming through that way. To bad you can’t buy a few sections at a time
For the next one i would suggest a telescoping foldable stand. To make it so convenient that you simply cannot deny the product!
Buyer beware! Jesus Molina, I bought this keyboard, based on your trusted review, on January 26, 2024. I paid over $1100 US, and I have only received lip service from the thieves who took my money. They kept complaining that they were waiting on delivery of components. When I finally gave them a shipping date or refund me deadline, they ceased all communication. I'm not sure what my options are here, in that I am a citizen of the USA, and this company is supposedly based in Spain, but I will find out. In the meantime, José Molina, you should be ashamed of yourself, because you are culpable in this chicanery.
I paid $1,288.67 US dollars on February 20, 2024 and I have been given the same replies of faulty components, etc…
I was told that it would be delivered at the end April, then May and then for sure at the end of July. Guess what? It’s the end of July and no PocketPiano in sight.
I’m currently taking more aggressive actions to either receive what I paid for, or a FULL REFUND. 👎
@@ncbasspraise They are thieves, without a doubt. I got a full refund through PayPal. My story is much the same as yours: I “purchased” it in the end of July; they first told me that it would be two weeks before they could package it for shipping; next they told me that they were having trouble with one of their component suppliers, and that began a series of six week delays in shipping. Four times, at the end of six weeks, they told me that the situation was unchanged, and I had to wait another six weeks. Finally, when I started giving them ultimatums that I wanted the product or a full refund, they told me the “good news” that it their supplier issues had been resolved, and that my shipment would be provided by the end of July. That was interesting to me, because PayPal provides a six month window by which it will provide a full refund. Beyond that six month window, they do not consider disputes. In the month of July, the thieves never responded to any of my emails. Within days of losing my ability to dispute the sale, I contacted PayPal, and I provided all the details of the purchase, and they refunded the money in full. In August I received a notice from the thieves saying that there was yet another delay, but I shouldn’t worry, it’ll be worth it once I get the product, etc. I told them what they could do with their lying excuses, how I had already been refunded by PayPal, and I moved all further communications from the lying thieves into my junkmail.
You say honest review, but you appear on their site...
Neither do these keys look weighted, and if they don't FEEL like a piano, they will cause bad technique over time, and is a big no to buy.
Lol, cool product, but if a guy was playing with that in the seat next to me on a plane, I would immediately ask the flight attendant to assign me a different seat.

I paid my piano in April and haven´t recieved it. I was also told I will receive it in July, but NO ....and no answer to my emails

It would be helpful if there is a short sample passage repeated with staccato and legato side by side so we can hear the comparison. Too confusing and easy to mask issues when played fast+sustain pedal. The key action in this video appears a bit bouncier than a standard Yamaha digital. Any licensed educators out there wanting to give a review?

Nice review! Are the keys 23.6mm wide as in a std piano? The key dip is reportedly only 6mm and if so this would require getting used as conventional pianos have 10-12mm key dip.

Important question! Can you use it on your laps while your travelling or you need a flat surface because of its magnet mechanism?
It looks like the magnetic connection is not very strong. I suppose you can't lift a single module without taking the whole "piano" apart. That's probably why they don't sell a stand for it.

On my CME XAir, there is a huge latency on the keyboard when I also use Bluetooth headphones. Is that also the case here?
Yes, of course. Any standard BT pair of headphones has a latency (even with BT LowLatency) that is beyond whay a pianist would accept. It has nothing to do with the keyboard. You just don't notice if you are on a phone call or watching a video (as that is latency corrected).
When playing on a touchscreen keyboard, I find the BT latency of the headphones practically inaudible. The problem seems to be the simultaneous supply of several BT devices. Well, one more adapter on my ipad (usb-to-jack)....

Great. But. At $499 - best seller. At $999 - ok for many musicians. At $1500 - only for pros and rich ppl.

I'd buy it for 300 no more. It's just a midi keyboard that can be plug together, they are using the fact that they are alone on this market, no competition. I'm waiting for yamaha to build his own and at cheap price
