@@Alchemist1947 It's a drop shot not a 100mph ball. If you can't tell if the ball bounced twice or not then you're a pathetic excuse for a pro. The fact that Alcaraz saw it means Musetti had to known.
Alcaraz is a better hard court player than Nadal, that's the difference, yes we all know Nadal as the Clay God, but let's not forget, Carlos did what Nadal couldn't do, and beat Djokovic back to back at Wimbledon, where Nadal could only beat Djokovic on clay, in the finals.
@@farhatk6054 Well yes, I mean Wimbledon he's got 2 and us open and clay 1, but I like how he was joking about having to play Nadal hard on hard courts, to beat him, Alcaraz doesn't need to be 100% to beat Nadal on hard court, anything above 50% will get the job done.
I’m genuinely curious why the replays cannot overturn what umpires see. Is it that the umpires can’t see the replay from their screen or from where they are? Is it this “tradition” of keeping technology out of the sport? Or is it some bogus rule that just hasn’t been changed yet?
It's the other way round really, the umpire cannot overrule what the replay shows, even if the system makes a mistake like in this case. Even if Bernardes saw the ball was out, and the mark shows it at well, he's not allowed to overrule.
First double bounce on inside Musetti's side of court, was clearly a fault, its wierd they dont check it up. Also the way Alcaraz kept going for same type of ball to force double bounce plays was kinda satisfying, but it makes no justice. In tense matches like this that mood break makes it hard to focus, and at that lvl of tennis its important such offset is not causeing hindrence of a fair gameplay.
The only guy that can make Carlito really angry and gets away with it is Goldkovic, but he is the GOAT so.... 40:15, ops, what am i saying. I meant, gooood night 🖐🤣
I'm not surprised actually think sometimes Carlitos is to passive he reminds me of Jennifer Capriati she would often play way too defensive. He has all the shots he should be pounding the s*** out of the ball like Sinner does. I think his natural disposition is too kind he doesn't have that cold ice like demeanor and I think you should get mad on the court more often.
It should also be noted that Jennifer Capriati was very inconsistent. She could win a Grand slam and then lose first round something he's battling with now. And for people that want to knock her and say she wasn't that great she won three Grand slams made it to the semifinals or better of all four and one a gold medal on her first try at the Olympics. I think they both have a lot of parallels as far as being prodigies I think they both have an equally weak mindset I don't think Carlos is strong. He has to be coached on every point I've never seen anything like it. The big three didn't look up to their box after every ball they hit, If Jennifer had these kind of rules I think she would have been a better player,
Maybe it is a silly question. But why is the 1st double bounce "clear"? I watched the video a lot of times. The ball first hit the ground, then hit the racket and back. I do not think it is a double bounce. Who can explain?
the slow motion replay only showed after the ball already bounced. So what happened is a bounce followed by the replay showing it bounced a second time before hitting the racket
@@rrrich9336 The slow-motion replay starts with the ball descending after crossing the net. I don’t think the ball would have followed that trajectory if it had bounced prior to that.
@@quanyuan7802 look at 0:16 you'll see it has clearly bounced once already and if you look at the slo mo replay it has bounced again just before touching the racket

Very bad sportsmanship from Musetti. He clearly knew the ball bounced twice

The ball was in if you watch in slow motion but it s almost impossible to see it without slow motion

For the first time I think Bernardes has a point. With automatic calls he can't really do anything about it. It's a machine decision..
Sure, there was nothing Bernardes could do, but the frustration of Alcaraz is understandable.

Musetti won a match.
So,Alcataz wasn't so angry.
The second ball seemed in by just a tiny bit even at the replay.
dont think so
The mark on the clay showed it was out, that was Alcaraz point, so the system (replay) was faulty.
5:50 .. how is that the contact point?????that ball is out
you should never make carlos alcaraz angry... first clip, he lost the match kkk

The ball may not be twice bounced total on one part of the field, before you hit it back over the net, look at 0:18, first one, then 0:20
