Hey thank you for stopping by! Please let me know if you want to see more treasures I have laying around..I'm getting real antsy to get back out there! 😬💛
Thanku for showing us your treasures, and letting us see how things have come to you and how your collection has progressed and accumulated in your videos!!!! (The what’s it shaped stone and and bone boat/canoe / point /shuttle thing, both look a lot like crafting tools…. for clay and timber and fibre work, i make a lot of my crafting tools from natural materials, and have made similar shaped bone and stone pieces for burnishing clays and metals and even other softer stones, bone, wood and for processing, weaving and shaping plant fibres, like hemp and bamboo and for sculpting, all sorts of materials….so beautiful….)…I got a mad stash of things too…. all my parents n grandparents finds from decades of hunting sapphires, gold, and all sorts of treasure in the bush…. It’s beautiful how memories stick to objects we find so well….and how vividly moments are relived simply by touching an item your connected to……people wonder why i get so excited about my “stuff” ….it’s nice to see u are so excited about your finds too…and thanku for sharing em with us….stories shared live on forever….
The gold is cool and all, but the artifacts and arrowheads make my day. I found my first arrowhead 66 years ago along Crooked Creek in NW Arkansas. There was an old campground in a big bend of the creek next to a huge cavern complex and every time the creek would rise and fall there would be hundreds of artifacts revealed. Be safe. Peace.
You should sample the beeping indicator thingy of the devices you use in your backyard. Would be cool. To listen to the different pitch of material. Dig a hole. Barry random metal objects and see the differences
Great video, Pauly, You have a very nice collection of Artifacts, that Nephrite Scrapper is really nice. Thank you very much for the great shout out, I am really glad you like that point I sent you. I know you don't do many shout out's I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the show and tell and I am looking forward to having you on Tuesday Night Hangout Live again on the 7th of April... Keep Up The AWESOME Work!
@@PioneerPauly the nuggets u wanna keep, even small ones. Im a gold&silver Smith an I make rings and pendants mostly, I cna make those feathers or wolf pendants like that was featured in the Dan Hurd video, or rings with a narrow inlay of golf nuggets.. I'd love to do some with u in collaboration Paulie, like for yourself or Maybe for the channel like a giveaway or raffle it off for a competition, or charity🤔.. My services are yours if u wish, my work load has been cut in half due to this crazy lock down so would love to hear from u or any of your own ideas as free time is something I have right now 😂, I mentioned arrow head pendants on another comment too..i see lots of possibilities. Hope to chat to ys soon pas
Found a spearhead under a log in a river when I was 8. My dad was an amateur archaeologist so he made epoxy copies of most of the arrowheads we found and the real ones went to his county archaeo society (he was Pres.). Against the law now to keep them (in California.) I may or may not have a necklace made with a nice obsidian specimen or copy. Good times, good times.
I love your collection of gold! Like you, I too have quite a collection of arrow heads, knifes, hammer heads, scrapers, needles, spear heads, etc. etc. which we as a family collected (20 years collecting) around Saskatchewan over the years. There were fun to find and we have a small amount like your stock pile. We also collected trade beads, a Hudson Bay metal arrow head and one Musket ball of pure lead. Excellent collection! Don't let COVID-19 stop you from still hunting for gold or arrow heads!!!!
That bone boat shaped piece (16:45) is making me think of the early fish net weaving tools. They were usually longer rounded needles meant for weaving (hemp or reeds (possibly other grasses)) into nets.
Some of those pieces were used for scraping leather hides before tanning and one of those bone pieces was used to sew with leather strips instead of thread.
Hey Pioneer Pauly thank you for showing your Native American Artifacts and the Candy. be for I hurt my back my husband and I used to go out and find Native American Artifacts all the time on our days off from work but now I'm not able to but he does every once in a while. We live about 20 miles from an Reservation here in Southeast Texas. but he hasn't been in a long time because of being in the military but he just retired and is coming home on the 3/31/20. he has been state side since Nov. though thank goodness with this Corona Virus B.S. going around, Well Mr. Pauly Y'all take care up their in Canada, stay strong and Healthy and be careful. O one more thing How about Jake hitting 10 Million Subs the other day, WOW!!!??? XXX From Southeast Texas : )
Hey Pauli, I have several points that I collected in Manitoba, from along the Winnipeg River. They look like your lighter-coloured points (10:49) and someone who knows told me they are made of chert, which is a type of flint. Some of them are wicked sharp, and the thong notches are finely crafted. Thanks for your channel, it's never boring . . . Now that I know there are points to be found around here, I'll start watching for them ;-)
I used to watch your old videos and I am so happy you've returned to talk about artefacts. Please could you show more with information about the age of them and known history of the sites etc.. who were the indigenous people of BC before more recent times and do they still have a modern presence and culture?
Pauly, just a big thank you for all your postings. Im re-cooping from my hip surgery last week and you help me pass the time. Your fun to watch and lift my spirit. Thanks again, your fan...little ole lady in North Carolina. 😙
My first arrowhead was in 1960 just off the Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina... Back then I could go into a plowed field and pick up several within a few feet... Great memories! :)
I too love collecting stone artifacts. I dug my first one out of the ground when I was 7 and have collected ever since. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Pauly - this is awesome. I've seen all your videos and this one is right up there with your best. It's the personal stuff that makes an impact. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed how every piece has a story, and all your videos are very entertaining and enjoy when you are with Dan Hurd and the gang that's where I first met Pauly and so many more to watch here's to better days and future outings keep it up 😎
Well that was a fun one, thanks for showing the artifacts! I have exactly 1, I found it about 10 years ago on a gravel bar looking for agates. Little red Jasper arrowhead about an inch long.
Hey I'm sure you don't have time to check these messages but just wanted to let you know how happy I am for you. Every video I watch I hope you get the best finds and I'm delighted when you do! Keep at it and keep giving us so much pleasure. Best wishes.
I really enjoyed this video. A peek into your world. I only found this channel yesterday, but I went back to the beginning video, and I'm flying through them. Great channel!
Pauly, very nice collection of artifacts, nice gold. I enjoy your site.....can't wait to see your up coming videos, I really liked your Arizona gold hunt with Jeff Williams. Keep hunting!
I have a nice arrow head collection from my younger days. Think it was my start to looking for other treasures in the dirt like metal detecting and looking for gold. I have also found pottery and think the marks are not from finger nails but rather pressed into the wet clay from either fabric or woven baskets etc.
Neat collection of artifacts. Often places that have concentrations of artifact, are places that they were being made. Those places seem to be vantage points that have a long range view that the tool makers could keep an eye out while being busy making tools, rather than just being a lookout for possible invaders. A lot of the artifacts would be worked to a point and it would be realized that it would not turn out perfect in the end so it would be tossed and the process would begin on the next piece. Judging by the range of implements, they came from lookout tool making places.
Love your videos. As an inventor, I couldn't help thinking if a crevice tool could be firmly fixed to the back end of a Garrett pin pointer? That way you could use the pointer in the crevice, locate the gold, then flip the pointer around to use the crevice tool. Perhaps something Garrett could make?
Great to see a behind the scenes into the life of Pauly. I wanna see you detect the tree out the front that you spilled the bag of coins under the tree next door
At about 16:35 there is a light colored item you were unsure about. I believe it is called a Fid and is used in the making and repair of nets and weaving in general. The other unknown goodie is a oh, I'll tell you later. Good stuff sir! John

Simply..... thanks Pauly. Anything from you or Chris makes my day
If you melt down your gold, you destroy the history of it in favour of a boring bar. Don't do it!
Your absolutely right.. I feel like it would be worth it to just melt old electronics down for a bar 🤔
PioneerPauly nooo if you really want to then go ahead!
keep the nuggets, melt the small stuff

Roger Watts I was thinking the same!
Or a maple syrup tap?
An awl?
My thought when I first saw it was a tool for scraping marrow out of bones.
Some of those pieces were used for scraping leather hides before tanning and one of those bone pieces was used to sew with leather strips instead of thread.
Awesome collection of Candy there. Well Done for collecting this and Thank you for showing us your Treasures.

Just what I needed thank you pauly be safe and stay healthy
Enjoyed the tour and thanks...
Your What's It is actually a specialized tool for smoothing and shaping Arrow Shafts.
Shaping tools were usually made from a coarse stone that acted more or less like sandpaper.
I have watch twice now and it is better than the last time I watched it. Woohoo.
Amazing video Pauly. Thanks for sharing.
Another great video Pauly 👍👍 stay safe and good luck in your search for the golden nugget 🤠🤠
Some cool findings Pauly!!

Cool video! Enjoyed the education on arrowheads/slate.
The white bone piece at 16:45 reminds me of a tool I saw an old - time weaver using. Whatever the what’s-it is, it sure is a cool shape.
Right on Pauly, thanks for sharing and we will see you on the next one 👊
Thanks for the video Paulie!!
