so glad you answered my question about what you personally gain from writing poetry 💓✨ it’s nice to know your feelings, and seeing how much you love poetry really is inspiring and makes me want to be more creative 💫
I absolutely loved hearing about your process!! Love the poem you shared (and totally feel you on being nervous). Can't wait to read more of your poetry one day!
i feel like poetry has always been something i’ve been interested in and it’s my form of venting. i like writing poetry in my notebooks but i also post it anonymously. i never felt like i could write poetry on the spot and its easier to do it went i’m feeling down or when i’m going through something. writing everything down makes it easier to cope with.
mine doesnt rhyme but i did it about hating your body in the mirror Glaring into the glass on the wall, reflecting in it is the figure, that fills you with despair Tugging, ripping, at the flesh that lies appon your bare bones, shattered shards of agony, collapsed, scattered, across the ground, too delicate to piece back together pricking your skin with in touch. vexation creeping towards into your body
she is only imagined, in films so sweet, never forgotten, as she passes on the street. he writes her a song, and he think of her as he sleeps, waiting to meet her in his dreams. she stands tall, and her heart beams, with poise yet without pride, it’s like she was created, by Austin or Bronte tied, she belongs in the louvre museum, she as beautiful as rome, and as enticing as greece. she reminds him of poems, written by keats, and yeats, she can bring the world peace. with the body of Monroe, and the face of Hepburn, she’s a goddess, and he knows. i want to be her, to make a man love me, like a Poet imagines love to be.
Yay! Happy to see this. I don't see many other youtubers talking about poetry writing and how they do it. I've been writing poetry for many years and always life gets in the way and shifts my priorities but im working on getting published and then making a book! Maybe a writing vlog would be fun? Anything else related to poetry i would enjoy as its really inspiring.
Since everyone else is sharing their poems I might as well share some of mine.: JUST A NAME It is so much more than just a name. It is love. Love poured onto my tongue. It is not just a name. It is desperation. Desperation to have you near. Not just a name. It’s a keening. The keening of the soul’s absence from you. Just a name. Just the air. The air I need to breathe. A name A call Allah!
I started writing poetry as we were studying it at school at the beginning of this year, then a poem came into my mind. I wrote it down, really liked it, tried to write some more and now I’ve written 90 in less than a year and love doing it!
you actually were the one who inspired me to start writing poetry 🌷 and i absolutely loved the poem you wrote, out of all of the poems i've read online and in books, yours is one of my faves
just bumped into your video. I am from China, and I write poetry in Chinese. I started writing poetry or what I considered to be poetry when I was 20. I feel like we have a lot in common in terms of how we write and think about poetry, and I want you to know. My English isn't all that good so I might not be able to articulate my feelings, but I think you can get it. 嘻嘻,好好写。
I've been writing poetry for a few months now. I'm finally getting to the point where I'd like to take it more seriously (which is how I ended up here). I was inspired to actually write poetry after reading the book "Nocturnal" by Wilder! Since then, most of my poems make me cringe and want to delete them from existence BUT there are some that I re-read every so often and think, "It's not the best, but I can't believe I actually wrote that." I'd like to get better at the editing aspect of writing poetry... And that's something I have no idea how to do...
TheWriteBrooke all I can say is...wow...you explained exactly what I have been feeling for awhile now. I got into writing poetry a few months ago and I like some of the things I look back on, but I really want to get better at it. I wish you the best!
I feel my best poems are the ones that I am inspired to write. However, as a teaching assistant (elementary or primary school) I started writing poetry to help my pupils appreciate the different ways that a sound could be spelt and also for class projects. I write at any time of the day or night, depending on when inspiration takes me. I carry a small notebook in my bag to jot down any inspiration on the fly. Because I work supply as a TA, I work on poems that I started but that didn't reach fruition if I'm not in school. I find that it's far harder to record than to write poetry. I have published some of my recorded work on my RUclips channel.
I'm sitting here open mouthed after you read the poem. It is really beautiful, it made me think and really spoke to me! You are so talented, I am in awe!!
I literally feel like i have the same process... i never knew i wrote poems but i was always lyrical with my words... and the first poem i wrote i was 14
Emma, this video REALLY helped me out. I'm a published independent brazilian writer and since I published my first book I've been in a "writing slump" (haha). I'm not able to write and I don't know why. Thank you soooooo much for the tips
The train is passing, Whistling and passing And calling For a picture to conjure up On the mind's plane With the bogies tumbling, Slowing down At the halt To chug again and to gather speed To run it all past and left behind.
Thanks for this vid Emma! I'm trying hard to improve my poetry tips and vids like this and changes like Adam Gary Poetry and Dimitri Reyes are really helping. Thanks for the inspiration! x

Dear Emma I love listening to you and really wish I could live near you I find it so amazing how you write! I did write a poem for my dad years ago but I never did again but I do love to journal 📓I would love to read one of your poems
So much of the way you write is similar to me. My poetry has always been emotion based. I think my best work comes from intense joy or love, or intense pain. On the rare occasion I can write about a nature scene or a flower, but those types of poems lack depth when I write them. I can’t write well unless I attach emotions to things. ... I also borrow a lot from lyrics. My current inspirer is Sami Yusuf. His lyrics are so Rumi-esque and lovely. :)
Here I am ! Strong I come With my soul and my words Here I am ! With my blue dress And my white nail polish on You asked me about my favorite song I said it's your voice honey You was born from melody You told me that you came from nowhere Should I care ? You told me that there is no hope with you Should I stop ? Cinnamon in my teeth Bottle in my hand Pain killing my soul Should I stay ? Yes because I love you with every beat of my cocaine heart
Also there can be, at least for organic writers situations where you do finish your poem in one draft, however it doesn’t happen often but sometimes other poems inspire you to create what I call “visionary masterpiece” which is a poem that has been mastered in one thought but those poems are more complex then the rest of the poems because they are inspired by multiple works, where as the original ones are inspired but not necessarily by multiple works, it can happen though but my own experiences are different personally.
ive recently gotten into poetry and i was wondering what are some ways you could make your poem more smooth and readable? here is my most recent poems: blushing cheeks: My blushing cheeks are as red as a cherry A cherry ripe in the summer embarrassed and frankly uncomfortable freckles light and glowy Eyes bright sparking like a diamond that sparkle.. me yawning peacefully “ah you woke me up” and you looking out the window staring deep in the sky that's as pretty as a picture not a sound.. slowly falling back asleep listening to the peaceful silence silent like a forgotten melody.. and its gone Water fills your lungs But your as empty as a birds nest in october Unable to breathe Losing your senses.. Its gone I can't find euphoria my chest starting to burn... trapped with your thoughts As your life begins flash between your eyes you see a light..
I can write the bulk of the poem anywhere, since the writing process is a lot of alternate possible Iines that I just think of and later on I write them down if I can get to a paper within an hour or so.
If you're describing the landscape, I suggest to write about the things you can see, for example, a field, you can see trees. From that point, describe it in detail, then put it in a poem format.
I actually just started writing more for myself because of you! I’m more of a visual artist, but there’s something about words that is just as therapeutic for me. As I said last time I’ve been literally watching all of your videos lately and you’re just so calming to listen to. 💜💜💜 Hope you’re having a great day!
i want to hop in this and make a videos like this as well! i think writing a poem doesn’t work with sitting down and be like ‘Oh i need to write a poem today and I’m going to sit here until I have ideas’ it does happens once in awhile but it’s kind of something that comes naturally 😬💓
I'm journaling and writing and my mum says I write like a poet but I never know where to start. I don't know if you have to follow the different rules for different types of poems or just dive in and write whatever you want in whatever way you want?
Lovely vlog.. I also write poetry and i have finished my first poetry book in Arabic.. I am thinking to translate it into English. it's sound good but my English isn't great.
The way I drown Sometimes I don't want to get better, sometimes I want to be down, because this life tastes so bitter, I get relieved by the numb way I drown Sometimes I want to get worse down and down and down, and it does seem to be a curse, I get relieved by the numb way I drown And sometimes smiles just don't feel right, no matter if they're real deep down, and none of those smiles they might, relieve me like the numb way I drown and sometimes the world gets too heavy, for my twisted mind to bear, and right then I want to stop breathing, not be here, not be anywhere Because every high has an end, and darling, I burn while I fall, into the sea I'm sent, I drown, oh I drown with it all And right now I don't want to get better, I really just want to go down, because to me, life tastes so bitter, and so sweet is the numb way I drown
this has make me realise that i kinda write poems too?? I just never thought of them as that? (totally relate to having LOADS of poem like things in my notes app haha)
I know this video's old but I watched this whole thing like "who does she remind me of. WHO IS IT" and basically you remind me of Molly Mahoney from Mr. Magorium's Wonder Imporium. Soft and pretty and you have really similar voices as well for some reason.
it is ur fault that i spent a ridiculous amount of money while visiting new york :^( kinokuniya was both a blessing and a curse cause boy did i leave my pants back there!! my friends loved it as well so thanks for the recommendation~
Said she, I love you, I love you Which but heard I it not, Went ahead, Heeded it not, Felt it not, Though wanted I But still do sometimes Hear I, I love you, Love you Having lost my all, A voice intercepting me On the ways of life When going unawares To know,. Know, How are you, How are.. Who will be happy With whom How to say it? Is life a lesson in adjustment, How to adjust with it all, Why do we commit mistakes To it back on?
I buy your idea of editing and not making haste to post a poem.Poets must think of minimizing words, better expressing ideas and seeking unmistakable images.Thank you a very useful material.
So yeah I made a poem and it's kinda long but I was wondering if anyone has any tips. Sometimes I kind of struggle with relating what I write to real events in my life cause I am 16 and (luckily) nothing much ever happened to me yet. Also, I'd love to put this to music, but it seems kinda impossible. The One Temptation over destination, Barely brings but desolation. So I’ll climb, I’ll find, I’ll leave myself behind. I know it’s of no use, But I can’t control the temptation. Now I am on a journey, Without a destination. You only learn you’re lost, When you find. You only discover you’re down, When you climb. So why might I miss you? And how do I know, If I never met you, That I need you so? For the one I’ve never met, Is the one I’ll never kiss. And the one I’ll never get, Is the only one I’ll ever miss. I’ve grown to be alone, It’s all I have ever known. So I will die or fly, Please don’t make me try. A committed quest for company, How my heartache has grown. I am on a journey, And I’m travelling alone. You can only tell you’re immortal, When you die. You can only know you’re bound, When you fly. But there’s this dark in my life, By the name of you. That I can’t survive, Or ever get through. For the one I’ve never met, Is the one I’ll never kiss. And the one I’ll never get, Is the only one I’ll ever miss. I’m stuck on some route, And my time’s running out. Cause when it’s winter all will fall, Not even I shall stand tall. Will anyone ever interfere, Or marry me on my route? Whilst time ticks tirelessly, My fire is dying out. Cause the fall of summer, Starts such a summer for fall. Yet after all, the winter of fall, Leads the winter to take it all. I am looking for a partner, But I can only gain a guest. And as of my departure, I’ve missed the one I’ve never met. For the one I’ve never met, Is the one I’ll never kiss. And the one I’ll never get, Is the only one I’ll ever miss. Am I looking for a partner, Or am I my own guest? Have I been, as of my departure, The only one I’ve never met? For the one I’ve never met, Is the only one I’ll ever wish. And the one I’ll never get, Is the only one I’ll ever miss. Was I looking for a partner, Or was I my own guest? Was I, as of my departure, The only one I never met? For the one I never met, Is the only one I ever wished. And the one I never got, Is the only one I ever missed. I was the one I never met. I was the one I always wished. I was the one I never got. I was the one I always missed.
Heeeeeelp please.....My main stupid ridiculous problem is that I have analysis paralysis when concerning the type of book I should use to write in 😫🙄🤯 I have over 200 poems btw
5HCLDNA5H online blogs/post are considered as self publishing. I say post online stuff you want to share that people can access for free. You can self publish poems and earn something through kindle, createspace or ingramspark but note that this is not 100% gonna bring you full income because poetry isn't that profitable in most cases (unlike fiction, or nonfiction writing). You can also make your own zines and chapbooks you can sell at literary events. Most of all, try as much as possible to submit your poems to journals and publications because it helps add to your credentials as a poet and makes you known in the poetry community more, especially in the academia. Good luck and i hope to see what pieces you write!
I love your videos! It is so calming when you talk and I relate to you. I loved learning about your writing process because everyone’s is so unique and I love getting to know everyone’s quirks! so glad you answered my question about what you personally gain from writing poetry 💓✨ it’s nice to know your feelings, and seeing how much you love poetry really is inspiring and makes me want to be more creative 💫
that was one of my fav questions so thank you! 💗
This is so inspirational, I love it when you talk about the way you see the world and how you process it 💕
I absolutely loved hearing about your process!! Love the poem you shared (and totally feel you on being nervous). Can't wait to read more of your poetry one day!
Thank you so much! It makes me happy that you like hearing about this :)
i feel like poetry has always been something i’ve been interested in and it’s my form of venting. i like writing poetry in my notebooks but i also post it anonymously. i never felt like i could write poetry on the spot and its easier to do it went i’m feeling down or when i’m going through something. writing everything down makes it easier to cope with.
mine doesnt rhyme but i did it about hating your body in the mirror
Glaring into the glass on the wall,
reflecting in it
is the figure, that fills you with despair
Tugging, ripping, at the flesh
that lies appon your bare bones,
shattered shards
of agony, collapsed,
scattered, across the ground,
too delicate to piece back together
pricking your skin with in touch.
vexation creeping towards into your body
she is only imagined,
in films so sweet,
never forgotten,
as she passes on the street.
he writes her a song,
and he think of her as he sleeps,
waiting to meet her in his dreams.
she stands tall,
and her heart beams,
with poise yet without pride,
it’s like she was created,
by Austin or Bronte tied,
she belongs in the louvre museum,
she as beautiful as rome,
and as enticing as greece.
she reminds him of poems,
written by keats,
and yeats,
she can bring the world peace.
with the body of Monroe,
and the face of Hepburn,
she’s a goddess,
and he knows.
i want to be her,
to make a man love me,
like a Poet imagines love to be.
Since everyone else is sharing their poems I might as well share some of mine.:
JUST A NAME
It is so much more than just a name.
It is love.
Love poured onto my tongue.
It is not just a name.
It is desperation.
Desperation to have you near.
Not just a name.
It’s a keening.
The keening of the soul’s absence from you.
Just a name.
Just the air.
The air I need to breathe.
A name
A call
Allah!
嘻嘻,好好写。
Oh my gosh!! I loved writing poetry because of Taylor too lol 😍 her impact!
Ahh i didnt know you wrote poetry! I loved hearing about your process and inspiration 🌸💫
Thanks Liv!! ✨🌼 happy to hear you enjoyed
You've been such an inspiration to my creative lifestyle recently! Thank you so much! Loved your poem ❤️
💗💗💗
That poem was so beautiful!
I’ve been on the fence about journaling/poetry and this is definitely a positive push to just start (:
yayyy that makes me glad to hear :)
Do it!! You won't regret it 💜
Dear Emma, thank you for always inspiring me to stay creative and positive. 😘
I've been writing poetry for a few months now. I'm finally getting to the point where I'd like to take it more seriously (which is how I ended up here). I was inspired to actually write poetry after reading the book "Nocturnal" by Wilder!
Since then, most of my poems make me cringe and want to delete them from existence BUT there are some that I re-read every so often and think, "It's not the best, but I can't believe I actually wrote that."
I'd like to get better at the editing aspect of writing poetry...
Thank you so much for your kind words!!
"The poem becomes a poem when I edit it." Same
I literally feel like i have the same process... i never knew i wrote poems but i was always lyrical with my words... and the first poem i wrote i was 14
Emma, this video REALLY helped me out. I'm a published independent brazilian writer and since I published my first book I've been in a "writing slump" (haha). I'm not able to write and I don't know why. Thank you soooooo much for the tips
The train is passing,
Whistling and passing
And calling
For a picture to conjure up
On the mind's plane
With the bogies tumbling,
Slowing down
At the halt
To chug again and to gather speed
To run it all past and left behind.
Your process and my process are identical and it's cathartic to hear another person say it out loud
Thanks for this vid Emma! I'm trying hard to improve my poetry tips and vids like this and changes like Adam Gary Poetry and Dimitri Reyes are really helping. Thanks for the inspiration! x
okay shit imma do it
winter is finally here
but you're not
im trying to think
but you're the only thought
watching raindrops falling from the void
and little by little,
i can feel my heart getting destroyed
sometimes you're an euphoric melody to my soul and body
but sometimes you make me feel like a nobody
i know you dont mind and you're just having fun
im such a fool but i hope i was your favorite one
im coming back home and there is nowhere for me to go
you're my only home but you're fading in slow
IDK IT SOUNDS SO BAD
I really like this!
@@mari_golds-bleeding-ink awww thanks ur rly sweet
I can’t wait to be able to go out again and soak up all the inspiration 😌
one a cold rainy day
you can hear the wind talk
to you on a cold rainy day
on a cold rainy day you
can feel the clouds that
cry for freedom
as they sail across the sky
in late September
you can snuggle with
someone you love
as you embrace
warm memories of a
summer that didn't last
you long for sunlight
as the day's grow shorter
on a cold rainy day
in late September
September 2, 2006
Love this. Awesome job! :)
@@sabrinazarogoza8686 Thank You
Dear Emma I love listening to you and really wish I could live near you
I find it so amazing how you write!
❤❤omggg
Iknowright
Taylor Swift is such an inspiration!!!
Emma, you're a lovely person and your poems are as lovely as you. This video might have inspired me to go back to writing. 🌼
Here I am !
Strong I come
With my soul and my words
Here I am !
With my blue dress
And my white nail polish on
You asked me about my favorite song
I said it's your voice honey
You was born from melody
You told me that you came from nowhere
Should I care ?
You told me that there is no hope with you
Should I stop ?
Cinnamon in my teeth
Bottle in my hand
Pain killing my soul
Should I stay ?
Yes because I love you with every beat of my cocaine heart
Also there can be, at least for organic writers situations where you do finish your poem in one draft, however it doesn’t happen often but sometimes other poems inspire you to create what I call “visionary masterpiece” which is a poem that has been mastered in one thought but those poems are more complex then the rest of the poems because they are inspired by multiple works, where as the original ones are inspired but not necessarily by multiple works, it can happen though but my own experiences are different personally.
you have such pretty eyes,,, im jealous omg
ive recently gotten into poetry and i was wondering what are some ways you could make your poem more smooth and readable?
here is my most recent poems:
blushing cheeks:
My blushing cheeks are as red as a cherry
A cherry ripe in the summer
embarrassed and frankly uncomfortable
freckles light and glowy
Eyes bright sparking like a diamond
that sparkle..
me yawning peacefully
“ah you woke me up”
and you looking out the window
staring deep in the sky that's as pretty as a picture
not a sound..
slowly falling back asleep
listening to the peaceful silence
silent like a forgotten melody..
and
its gone
Water fills your lungs
But your as empty as a birds nest in october
Unable to breathe
Losing your senses..
Its gone
I can't find euphoria
my chest starting to burn...
trapped with your thoughts
As your life begins flash between your eyes
you see a light..
I can write the bulk of the poem anywhere, since the writing process is a lot of alternate possible Iines that I just think of and later on I write them down if I can get to a paper within an hour or so.
YES!! TAYLOR
great tips, and dug the poem at the end. keep goin' Rock on you!
that was a beautiful poem
If you're describing the landscape, I suggest to write about the things you can see, for example, a field, you can see trees. From that point, describe it in detail, then put it in a poem format.
I actually just started writing more for myself because of you! I’m more of a visual artist, but there’s something about words that is just as therapeutic for me.
As I said last time I’ve been literally watching all of your videos lately and you’re just so calming to listen to. 💜💜💜
Hope you’re having a great day!
That makes me so happy to hear 💛💛 Words are very therapuetic I agree. Hope you're having a lovely day too!!
Hi Emma, I daily journal. My therapist recently told me that I should start doing poems because of how I daily journal. Where can I start poetry-wise?
I adore you! 💕 This video was so helpful! Thanks for asking and answering all those questions! I think I should get back into writing poems one day.
Such great advice, I'm so glad I came across this video
0:59 I have a shirt with that exact print on it!
Thank you Emma. That was amazing and very informative.
Your poem was sooooooo goooooooddddddd!❤️❤️❤️
i want to hop in this and make a videos like this as well! i think writing a poem doesn’t work with sitting down and be like ‘Oh i need to write a poem today and I’m going to sit here until I have ideas’ it does happens once in awhile but it’s kind of something that comes naturally 😬💓
I'm journaling and writing and my mum says I write like a poet but I never know where to start. I don't know if you have to follow the different rules for different types of poems or just dive in and write whatever you want in whatever way you want?
Im fan of Taylor and my inspiration is also tay
My first time to watch you and I love you and your spirit. Subscribed!!
WritingPal free app let’s u write in any language. Voice to text makes it faster and easier.
Lovely vlog.. I also write poetry and i have finished my first poetry book in Arabic.. I am thinking to translate it into English. it's sound good but my English isn't great.
A couple months ago,
I just turned thirteen,
It made me lessen my ego,
During this quarantine.
Is there a right way to write poetry? Do they all have to rhyme ? Can they be long or short?
There isn’t a right way! They don’t have to rhyme & you can have them any length you want.
Do you have any advice on being a poetry vlogger? I’d love to start doing that.
Clicked this video cause of how aesthetic it looked compared to all the other poetry videos 😂
OMG SAME- 😂
The way I drown
Sometimes I don't want to get better,
sometimes I want to be down,
because this life tastes so bitter,
I get relieved by the numb way I drown
Sometimes I want to get worse
down and down and down,
and it does seem to be a curse,
I get relieved by the numb way I drown
And sometimes smiles just don't feel right,
no matter if they're real deep down,
and none of those smiles they might,
relieve me like the numb way I drown
and sometimes the world gets too heavy,
for my twisted mind to bear,
and right then I want to stop breathing,
not be here, not be anywhere
Because every high has an end,
and darling, I burn while I fall,
into the sea I'm sent,
I drown, oh I drown with it all
And right now I don't want to get better,
I really just want to go down,
because to me, life tastes so bitter,
and so sweet is the numb way I drown
this has make me realise that i kinda write poems too?? I just never thought of them as that? (totally relate to having LOADS of poem like things in my notes app haha)
I know this video's old but I watched this whole thing like "who does she remind me of. WHO IS IT" and basically you remind me of Molly Mahoney from Mr. Magorium's Wonder Imporium. Soft and pretty and you have really similar voices as well for some reason.
Yes! I thought she had Natalie Portman vibes!
it is ur fault that i spent a ridiculous amount of money while visiting new york :^( kinokuniya was both a blessing and a curse cause boy did i leave my pants back there!! my friends loved it as well so thanks for the recommendation~
hahaha it is definitely a blessing and a curse. glad you enjoyed regardless x)
cool channel...really like your explanations on poetry, and interesting you journal too and how this goes into your work.
Said she, I love you,
I love you
Which but heard I it not,
Went ahead,
Heeded it not,
Felt it not,
Though wanted I
But still do sometimes
Hear I,
I love you,
Love you
Having lost my all,
A voice intercepting me
On the ways of life
When going unawares
To know,.
Know,
How are you,
How are..
Who will be happy
With whom
How to say it?
Is life a lesson in adjustment,
How to adjust with it all,
Why do we commit mistakes
To it back on?
I buy your idea of editing and not making haste to post a poem.Poets must think of minimizing words, better expressing ideas and seeking unmistakable images.Thank you a very useful material.
Poem is like an arrow it has to have a point in order to be effective.
The One
Temptation over destination,
Barely brings but desolation.
So I’ll climb, I’ll find,
I’ll leave myself behind.
I know it’s of no use,
But I can’t control the temptation.
Now I am on a journey,
Without a destination.
You only learn you’re lost,
When you find.
You only discover you’re down,
When you climb.
So why might I miss you?
And how do I know,
If I never met you,
That I need you so?
For the one I’ve never met,
Is the one I’ll never kiss.
And the one I’ll never get,
Is the only one I’ll ever miss.
I’ve grown to be alone,
It’s all I have ever known.
So I will die or fly,
Please don’t make me try.
A committed quest for company,
How my heartache has grown.
I am on a journey,
And I’m travelling alone.
You can only tell you’re immortal,
When you die.
You can only know you’re bound,
When you fly.
But there’s this dark in my life,
By the name of you.
That I can’t survive,
Or ever get through.
For the one I’ve never met,
Is the one I’ll never kiss.
And the one I’ll never get,
Is the only one I’ll ever miss.
I’m stuck on some route,
And my time’s running out.
Cause when it’s winter all will fall,
Not even I shall stand tall.
Will anyone ever interfere,
Or marry me on my route?
Whilst time ticks tirelessly,
My fire is dying out.
Cause the fall of summer,
Starts such a summer for fall.
Yet after all, the winter of fall,
Leads the winter to take it all.
I am looking for a partner,
But I can only gain a guest.
And as of my departure,
I’ve missed the one I’ve never met.
For the one I’ve never met,
Is the one I’ll never kiss.
And the one I’ll never get,
Is the only one I’ll ever miss.
Am I looking for a partner,
Or am I my own guest?
Have I been, as of my departure,
The only one I’ve never met?
For the one I’ve never met,
Is the only one I’ll ever wish.
And the one I’ll never get,
Is the only one I’ll ever miss.
Was I looking for a partner,
Or was I my own guest?
Was I, as of my departure,
The only one I never met?
For the one I never met,
Is the only one I ever wished.
And the one I never got,
Is the only one I ever missed.
I was the one I never met.
I was the one I always wished.
I was the one I never got.
I was the one I always missed.
You don't have your poetry instagram anymore? I tried to follow you but it says the page doesn't exist.
Heeeeeelp please.....My main stupid ridiculous problem is that I have analysis paralysis when concerning the type of book I should use to write in 😫🙄🤯
I have over 200 poems btw
Where can I publish my poems ( I'm new to this😂)
5HCLDNA5H online blogs/post are considered as self publishing. Good luck and i hope to see what pieces you write!
oh my GOODNESS where is that mug from i need it
lovely poem
You remind me of the movie little women😊😄
Why wouldn't you share the playlist though? Good video :p
loved this chat so much!!
I love your videos! It is so calming when you talk and I relate to you. I loved learning about your writing process because everyone’s is so unique and I love getting to know everyone’s quirks!
Your poem was so beautiful!
I’m also going to Taylor Swift Saturday!!! Maybe I’ll see you? May we both get Rep Room!
Thanks a lot for the video. 💛
Okay I literally got inspiration from the words “what makes my heart sing” and “how I bring light into the world”
I just want to learn more on writing a poem:)
Under the moonlit nights
When the jasmines keep fragrancing
I take to poetry,
Writing poems
With the heart held in trust and bonding
With all sympathy
Writing the poetry of love,
Infatuation with
And suppose you
Rajanigandha is a slim girl
Fairly tall for her age
And meeting me
With a pack of jasmine sticks
To give to me.
Thank you
My channel is also mostly about poetry! Glad to find your channel 🤩😍
I love your videos! They make me so happy! :))) Could you maybe do a video on anxiety or worry? :)
I will definitely be doing a video on anxiety/fear/worry in the future!
YAAAAY! I'm so glad :)
