She’s done contemporary. There are multiple kinds of dance. This is obviously under the gymnastics category. She is most likely competing under that category this time, and there were other dancers competing under *different* categories. It’s never all about contemporary...
@@Konnordawg The title literally says contemporary- Also, I'm a dancer, and the majority of the contemporary solos I compete against are just trick after trick. I totally think that they are amazing, but it just really isn't dance anymore.
@@sexyfrog6193 yeah I agree with you. It’s impressive but not real dance. All the contemporary teachers I ve had in my life talked about expressing emotion and telling a story plus proper contemporary technique like Graham. This is impressive but not my cup of tea.
This is far from gymnastics, this is circus style performing, contortionist. Ahhh, she is a rhythmic gymnast, that's why her style and choreography is such as it is. It is still not gymnastics.
