Another fantastic video Mick and Sally! We are enjoying your trip immensely…thankyou and looking forward to your next one…happy and safe travels from Norm and Jenny 🆒☀️🇦🇺🚗😀
Time to turn on the big screen and revisit Tassie ....another interesting vlog....pleased you made it to Bruny - me thinks you need a week to enjoy and see everything. This applies to Tassie - too hard to to do in one visit Presume you must be close to coming home safe travels - no troubles Thank you for all vlogs ....looking forward to the final vlogs💙🤎😪😪 Jan - still in Q & K who is also enjoying the trip down memory lane💙❤️
You are so correct about Bruny Island , we definitely did not have enough time there but we assumed that would be the case before we went onto the Island. We are still in Tassie for another four weeks, we sail back tot he mainland on the 11th May.
That was wonderful watching Geevestone as we had the day there, however the river was much higher being in November & the ground was damper & the walk along the Huon river fantastic. The thing I noticed the most is all the work they have done since 2010 on improving the walkways to the AirWalk & yes, I enjoyed making the walkways move!! 😆 Couldn't help myself! However I didn't like the walk out to the lookout knowing that I was just being held up by two cables & I am not sure that I made it all the way out or had to stop & go back due to a vertigo attack. I do remember that it shook me badly. I kept a diary so it would all be written in my albums. The other thing I noticed was that the trees were cleared away so you can see more of the river from the walkway. Also the swinging bridges walk wasn't done back then, so that was new to me. We never got to go to Bruny Island so I enjoyed seeing that part of your trip. I am going to enjoy watching next week as we were supposed to spend the morning at the Botanical gardens but as I was the only one who REALLY wanted to go there they dropped me off & I only had a couple of hours & then had to be back at the gate while the rest of the busload went to view something else & I think it was to do with a car race track or something that I DEFINITELY was not interested in seeing or doing. Part of the reason for my trip over there that February was to see the Botanical gardens so I was definitely not happy!! We had time on our return trip to Hobart after our day out at Geevestone & so the bus driver took us up to the top of Mt Wellington & we scared a lot of cars when they were driving up & had to go right over to the edge of the cliff to pass us. We got to the top & it was FREEZING & very windy but clear as it was probably about 4 pm but I wanted photos so got out to get them but ended up having to turn back as my temperature dropped too low & I ended up with hypothermia & that was not fun at all!!! I have hashimotos hypothyroidism which means LOW thyroid & so I feel the extreme temperatures & can't control my body temperature. I somehow think that you are both thinking that there will have to be another trip to Tassie in the future if your health holds up!! 😄
We have thoroughly enjoyed everywhere that we have visited on this trip, who knows there maybe another trip in time to come, we would like to see some locations covered with snow. We enjoy our time wondering around in Botanical Gardens, not everyone likes it as you have mentioned.
Thanks again for some more great tips on places to visit. So glad you showed the Hastings Caves as we missed that area last year, they look fantastic. We absolutely loved Bruny Island just magic and we had the same weather when we hit Mt Wellington. The Air walk gives you a beautiful view, we were really luck when we were there again had great weather March last year. Anyway only 10 days now before we are leaving Adelaide to head back there so will keep our eyes peeled. Stay safe.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video. We have been so lucky with the weather while in Tassie🙂 The Hastings Cave had the wow factor for us, beautiful to be in👍
OMG...Is there anychance Sally & Mick could adopt me...Yes, I'd be an adopted Grandpa...LOL Narrative information is fabulous, so heaps thanks towards that. Wondering if Real-estate values have escalated in Tasmania as here on the ' Big Island" ? Do reckon I could blend in so well in shown videos.....Luv your skill and patience by Sally...what a beaut Team....So hugzzzzz and super thanks.......Cheers.👍✌

Really a beautiful area you are in. Thanks.
That is Tassie all over for us, so good👍
nice
Thank you👍
Nice video .. Where's the nice Holden Colorado ?
We were too far outside of the safe weight limits and unfortunately had to either upgrade the toe vehicle or downsize the caravan.
Fair enough the Colorado was definitely a nice looking car it was a credit to you
@@goldentrowel1968 A sad day when we had to part with it.
👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers👍
Really a beautiful area you are in. Thanks.
