when the DC clusters are made, I would caution beginners to mark their FPTC & intermittently along the 78 clusters (every 20 b/c it's easier to rip out 20 than 50). That way when the final rnd is done there's no confusion b/c the stitches in next rows don't line up perfect, making it harder to determine where to put the 2sc on top of FPTC, even with correct count

Why is it, that the yarn changes Color from round 39 to round 40? In round
sometimes I start a round in one color, and then half way through think I don't like it, so rip it out and do it again in a different color.

I'm on round 42 doing 316FPSC all around. Yes it's a good chance to fix any mistakes...just curious if it's vital there's 78 DC clusters between FPTC? Only ask because I did some fudging. I should not have been trying to finish at 11pm!
As i recall, yes. Because the pattern build on the stitch count

Thank you, despite how careful I thought I'd been in rnd 42 I still had to adjust 3 stitches (I had to do 1 together in one quadrant and add 2 in another quadrant) I also hadn't accounted for those FPTC into my count previously, which is probably where I went wrong. But I'm all perfect now & revving up for round 44! (I put stitch markers every 20 st & on every st on top of FPTC (which is 19st)
Can anyone tell me how many stitches there are in round 38? I messed up somewhere and trying to figure out where

What is the point in resolving stitch counts in rnd 42 When we’re not going to be there in round 43?

Watch your video at the beginning of round 42. you stated "Now is a good time to adjust your stitch count if it's off, by either decreasing or increasing as needed to obtain 78 sts between the fp sts." Why would it be needed when round 43 we are not working those FPSC sts but behind those sts and directly working from the Cluster stitches from round 41?
