I don't think this was 1989. I don't remember seeing the purple circular logo being used till the 90s, about 1992 or so. Before that they used the striped squared background logo with the slanted L, then soon after used a modified version of the squared logo that was similar to the logo seen here. I'm guessing this was about 1992 or so, just before the Big Spin changed its format.
How many 80s and 90s kids in California remember their parents and grandparents excited thinking that night they were going to win the Lotto. Oh well $5.00 wasted again. Then they played again on Saturday. 🤣🤣🤣 Who knows how many thousands of dollars given away to "education" and schools are worse than ever.
