I was raised in Cali, in the Bay during the 80s. I have family from all over Cali, Including the LA area. But even then, LA gang influence was prevalent in the Bay, and in the Sacramento valley. Fresno, Stockton, etc. I never got put on, even though I had family who I loved involved. I was raised in Cali, in the Bay during the 80s. I have family from all over Cali, Including the LA area. But even then, LA gang influence was prevalent in the Bay, and in the Sacramento valley. Fresno, Stockton, etc. I never got put on, even though I had family who I loved involved. I left the Bay, went to the military, got out, got in some trouble, and spent 12 years in Fed and State prisons. So I have some experience with gang members from all over the nation. But I never understood why we blacks would kill each other over a block we never owned. Or the blood feuds that fuel gang activity and waste so many lives of GOOD BROTHAS. Those are my only issues with gangs. If we could channel all that organizational skill and talent in marketing to actually uplift our people, we would be unstoppable.
