Saw people talking about you as the only RUclipsr they trust on Reddit and I had to come see what the fuss was about. Totally worth the hype! You're awesome. Love you being strong, confident, wisely opinionated, knowledgable, and to the point. So glad I found you. Binge watching and learning so much.
Hahaha too funny! I heard about her from other artists on here and I too have been binge watching her videos!! You should also watch these other two called Tati or Jaclyn Hill. Very honest as well. I am not sure if it is proper etiquette to mention another RUclips artist but I mean no disrespect at all!! I like Stephanie's tutorials as they are nice and easy to follow and she explains why she does things a certain way…the benefit as well as how to NOT do it!! Any who…enjoy getting stuck on RUclips for hours…it is quite the web of one video after another!! ;)
Finally... a makeup reviewer with a real voice and real information who doesn't sound hopped up on helium and happy pills. Thank God. You need millions of subs haha. don't ever lose your realness!
omg thats it. super perky or overly caffinated is so grating on my nerves. cuz when i watch my youtube vids its at work on wifi in the middle of the night when i most hate humans in general lol. so her realness is like ahhhhh thats nice and refreshing lol. thank you for not drinking 4 redbulls before filming hahaha
Couldn't agree more with you girls. So so annoying! I tbink Kandee Johnson is super talented but I cant stand how she acts. It's kinda fake to me. I want to watch her videoa but I cant get thru them anymore
As I grow older it is so hard for me to apply "age appropriate" makeup....I grew up in the sixties and seventies and was at my prime in the eighties and nineties; so, I have seen and used every imaginable makeup technique. I usually just wear what I like...whatever suits my mood, which can range anywhere from no makeup to Cleopatra...lol...!! This was a great video...you explain and demonstrate everything so well...!!! 💜🦄💜😉😊
I think it's very beautiful & inspiring that you're not afraid to be yourself despite the comments on sure you get because "you need to act your age", good for you! 😌
There is no such thing as "age appropriate" makeup unless we are talking about ladies younger than 21. In my opinion...wear what makes you feel like the beautiful, confident, sassy woman that you are!!! Purr like a kitten or ROAR like a lion…whatever makes you smile day to day!!! Makeup is all about self expression and no matter what's on your face, it will always be what is on the inside that matters most!! You keep on keepin on Lady W!!! Stephanie Nicole is the one to watch for tips and honest reviews! I love her!! You might also like a lady on here called Tati. Perhaps you should start your own channel!!!
Sheri J, thank you for your lovely comments...I do have my own channel...it is called Lady W...you are welcome any time....I come and go...and just recently started posting again...please stop by and check out my channel...and do subscribe.....I am not all that polished...I am just a 61 year old Georgia country girl...but I have had a life long affair with makeup. fragrances, jewelry, and everything we use or wear to make our lives more livable and exciting...!!! My channel is a little bit of everything....mostly my own form of self-expression -- honesty...humor...and my own raw form of comedy...!!!
I'm so glad you did a version of this video that's ACTUALLY useful. The other ones I've seen were highly exaggerated, almost comical tacky type of videos, which isn't very useful.
I didn't mean it like that. I meant where they use black brow powder and shimmery pastel blue eyeshadow up to the brow and stuff like that. Where it's really obvious it's a mistake. But yeah I see what you're saying :)
+EGvotreamie Totally agree with you. And they're extremely rude about it. She is going to be my new favorite YT'er. I can already tell. She speaks to her audience very well, and gives a lot of information not just "don't do this" and then exaggerate it to make fun of it.
+EGvotreamie I agree. Instead of being common mistakes they do like mistakes that young people trying makeup for the first time used to do lol. Now that have RUclips and stuff though I don't see a many young mishaps
Your skin on the "good makeup side" looks so smooth and perfect compared to the right side, it honestly looks like tightened with botox compared to your "bad makeup" side... that's how dramatically nicer it looks! It looks like airbrushed perfect. wow! I normally just do simple BB cream with some bronzer so this was really helpful!
I was thinking the exact same thing!!! After watching this I am really going to up my under makeup moisturizing game!!! It is AMAZING the difference right!!!! I even made my husband come and look at her skin….hahahahaha!!! He just gave me a weird look but I was so impressed that I had to share with someone❣️ 💦😅💙
I love this. It's the first "makeup mistakes to avoid" type video that wasn't over dramatic for comedy's sake. It was like you did a "how I used to do my makeup" and mixed it with a tutorial and it came across very relatable and helpful. Subbed. I'm excited to see your channel grow even larger! ❣
I love this. Like every other youtuber would do something so exagerated that no one would ever wear their makeup like this but this, this is something we do day by day without realizing it's wrong and now we know! Thank you so much, and sorry for my bad english, idk.
When I was in high school, I ONLY put eyeliner on the bottom waterline. Black. I don't know why but this is something I swear every teenage girl goes through. It was awful. I also put a streak of deep DEEP bronzer on my cheeks to contour. It was literally a diagonal line. No blending. Haha I liked this video a lot, it certainly brought back some of my bad makeup memories.
I am guilty of only lining my bottom lash line with black also in my youth!!! I actually remember why I did it. Because I didn't know how to put it on the top lash line, so I just put it on the bottom! Lol! Finally, one day I was at a hair salon with my mom and we started a conversation with a makeup artist that worked there. She and my mom convinced me that if I wanted to wear eyeliner, I needed it on the top and bottom. Actually, I think I remember the makeup artist telling me that with my eye shape, top liner was best and that if I wanted to skip anything...to skip the bottom liner!!!😭😭😭 Thankfully she showed me how to apply top eyeliner and I have been wearing it ever since. I am still not perfect, but I have gotten much better! I also remember being scared of using liquid foundation until I was like 30! I was scared because when I was in middle school, I had bought some cheap drugstore foundation and put it on. When I got home from school, my mom showed me the "ring" of orange foundation around my face and how it wasn't matching my neck. I was MORTIFIED and swore off liquid foundation for years!
Found your channel yesterday and you are one of the most informative and helpful youtubers I've seen. This is very interesting. The "bad" side looks like a teenager and the "good" side a woman. Very helpful as I learn about makeup application!
Maybe it's just because I'm watching this on my phone, but I though the eyelashes on the "wrong" side looked really cute and made the heavy dark line on the bottom make more since. Love the tips for the face makeup and eye shaddow! Thank you!!
Sarah Olney I agree the eyelash that dropped made her eye look round and soft really beautiful. I sense she did too but decided to stay with her script.
I enjoyed watching this and appreciate it because you were realistic and didn't exaggerate on the "wrong" side . I see so many videos like this and it's just a big joke. I also liked that you included things that you used to do personally in your past and how you corrected it
only youtuber I swear by and trust, for honest and relatable review's and lifelong saving makeup and skincare tips. love you, and I really appreciate your video and reviews
I loved this! It wasn't so over exaggerated that half of your face looked like a drunk clown. I hate when I see these videos and they are ridiculous. Yours was informative and helpful :)
I love you! You are the most honest, straight to the point, no bs, informative RUclipsr I watch! You are genuine..and it comes across in your videos! 💓
Yea, that's because there is a lighter color at the beginning of the eye on the wrong side and the "droopy" eyelashes actually make eyes bigger. Droopy/puppy eyes are actually pretty popular for making eyes bigger in other countries as well.
It just all depends on your eye shape. I do the lashes on the "wrong" side and it makes my eyes look bigger and more awake, where as when I did my mom's make up the exact same way, it did the opposite.
Tbh, I feel a lot of youtubers are 10-15 years younger than her. Age and experience helps a ton! In addition, others are often self-taught and home-schooled (in the way that they are not as exposed to as much diversity in people and styles and in-person feedback and interaction and social dynamic).
+Stephanie Nicole okay, thanks! You really seem to know what you're talking about. So far I trust your opinion! I also really love hearing all about production and everything that goes on behind the scenes in the beauty industry. You're also very informative! I will be subscribing😊
Wow! the left (your right) looks so 'cheap' looking. It's crazy, I would have thought you used completely different makeup! The 'now' side looks so healthy looking and pretty! I pretty much made all the same mistakes as you, no eyebrows (until I got married at 22 and the MUA for my wedding showed me) dark foundation in HS, and same under-eye concealer technique until I stopped using it completely for a while because I hated how it looked in photos! For the longest time I couldn't use liquid foundation either, I used powder. Thank goodness for primers! They are finally popular enough that I can get them anywhere. MAC and Smash box were always sold out back in the day! I did wear primer under my mac Studio fix, but I know so much more now and can finally wear liquid foundation again! Love your videos! Thanks for being real and honest!
I've watched a lot of these "Do's and Don'ts" and I have to say that this is one of the best I've watched. It's nice to watch someone actually explain why they're/aren't doing things instead of just listing steps. You also didn't make the "Don't" side unrealistic/cartooony or obvious which I appreciated. I'm a little late but keep up the good work
+rosettegarbanz I agree. The lashes were more visible in the outer corner of the "bad" eye which drew the eye up. The "good" eye lashes were barely visible and just accentuated her hooded lid IMO. Everything else is right on though.
I agree. I also don't see a huge difference in the lashes - the left side isn't really smaller or anything, it's just a different look. But she does say it's preference.
i never used to blend my eyeshadow in middle school & to make that worse my every day look was half sky blue on the lid & the other half dark blue. i was a MESS
I love how you kept saying that this was how you used to do it, it wasn't a put down, and it was really lovely. Everyone starts somewhere, and no one is perfect. thank you so much for making this video.
personally I think the "improper" eye looks better. With her hooded eye shape, the black base with the super dark purple over it & the fact that the lashes on the "proper" eye was placed straight out instead of placing them up à little makes that eye look really heavy & more squinted. she is beautiful either way but that's just my opinion. but I do love this channel & I'm a happy new subscriber.
I just found you on RUclips and you are so informative and well spoken in all of your vidoes! thank you for being kind while educating people. I love your character! keep up the good work, girl!
So many youtube makeup videos seem to be more style than substance (which is fine, but not really what I watch them for). Thanks for making such informative and to-the-point videos. :)
A lot of people saying that the 'bad' eye looks better - and personally; I agree; I really like both sides though. I think especially eye make-up really is about personal preferences and what you want to achieve. When it comes to foundation, contour etc; there's a lot of do's and don'ts that can make or break your look; but with eyeshadow, there's so many ways to play around, just go for what you think is flattering. What's important though is using a primer, always 😂
I think all the highlighting that is popular right now is going to be like the 80's blush, blue eyeshadow and black waterline liner...it's too much...a little is pretty...but to each their own...and thanks for being one of the ladies who feels that too 😀
I love the fact you use all types of makeup brands. From nyx which us affordable for many people to the more expensive brands like Mac. You're so straight forward and honest. I always used to feel like I could never do really good makeup but you've shown that experimenting and practice can get you to achieve the look you want. You're awesome!!
I used to put black eyeliner on THICK. I looked like a raccoon lol. I thought that in order for people to tell I was wearing makeup, I had to put a ton on. And all I wore was eyeliner and (maybe) mascara.
oh my God me too. and I used this super cheap kohl liner so it would smudge onto my browbone when I blinked and wore off super easily. I had raccoon eyes ALL THE TIME.
I am so glad that I found you tonight. Thank you so much for your honesty and fearlessness. I'm not going to waste any more time on certain you tubers shoving the same products and their promotion codes down our throats. I totally trust what you say. I feel like you have saved me from a lot of mistakes. Thank you for just being an amazing person!
I agree. I think it has something to do with the fact that the lashes start farther away from the inside corner on the "wrong side" which i think looks way better. She might want to trim them a bit shorter to avoid droop and the closed in look at the same time.
I love how down to earth you are, I look back on old pictures of my makeup only a year ago and I think wow what was I thinking? What was I doing, that looks so awful and I thought it looked so good at the time! It's crazy how much you can grow and learn in such a short amount of time.
When I was 12 and I first started wearing makeup, I don't know why in the world I would do this, but I would put eyeliner under my eyes way too thick on purpose, then use my finger to wipe it off
Hey! I love your videos. I'm so glad I found you. I use to do the black eye liner on the lower water line as well, but have since stopped. I do how ever still do the shimmer "contour" on the left. I didn't think it looked bad until I saw it side by side on you! I'm so glad I saw this on someone else. Thank you for all the information on all of your videos I LOVE that your videos are long and packed with helpful information. I'm so glad i found your page! Your very relatable and I love your personality. I've been watching your videos nonstop for days!
I also have hooded eyes so this was a great video! I seriously put on my makeup after watching this video!! Thanks Steph! I love watching all your videos! I also love how you calculate each eyeshadow by the ounce! It's always good to know there's a RUclipsr out there that doesn't bribe or try to make you into buy something that you really don't need! Keep the videos coming!! ❤️👍❤️👏😍
I love your videos! I think you're so honest and have such great insight. I found you through your review on Morphe products and you taught me so much in that one video I was hooked. I think your makeup skills are amazing and you're so knowledgeable about this stuff! :)
I just discovered her today and I've already learned so much about makeup! I've recently become obsessed with makeup and trying to make it all make sense and she definitely knows how to teach technique. Not many artists would take time out of their day to make sure others challenged in the makeup department learn and understand new techniques.
I would agree 100% with you on everything on this video, except the way you apply your false lashes. Your "wrong" eye actually looks better. The placement of the lashes further out opens up your eye SO much and looks super gorgeous, as well as natural as opposed to the "good" eye which looks more narrow. Just my opinion, but seeing as I know how us women sometimes don't actually see ourselves as others do I figured I would let you know that what you think looks "sad" or droopy actually looks pretty amazing.
This is the most perfect makeup video I have ever seen. I've always just kinda done my own thing with makeup and never took the time to learn properly. Woman...I am GLUED to this video. Thank you SO much for making it!!! You're showing step by step everything I've ever wanted/needed to know - thank you!!! I think you have an awesome personality, as well, and I definitely subscribed to you
Extremely helpful to see the two different looks on your face at the same time....a very clear tutorial I will think about every time I do my makeup. Thank you!
I'm so happy you addressed the banana powder trend. It never made sense to me for all those pale people to use, because it is so noticeably yellow on them.
Ben Nye has some of the best powders I've ever tried, you just need to get it in the right shade. Hes got a wide range of shades you just have to find them. His 01 lightest stage makeup powder is what I use and I love it.
This is the most respectful, informative video of this style I have ever seen. It just shows you how a ton of little things can improve your overall makeup application. The eyelashes on the bad side still look ok to me though...
My eyes are hooded exactly like yours, and thank god you listed a primer that doesn't crease or transfer on you, because I bought the Too Faced one, and that still happens so I will be buying the UD one!!
Ashley Lynne I have hooded eyes as well and for me personally liquid Primers like Too Faced and UDPP don't work. One's that are thicker like Artdeco work, though. Powdering your eyes before applying anything also helps. Since l used coconut oil to remove my my makeup, I've been doing this and realized, that my eyeshadows last longer.
When I wore makeup daily I never used concealer correctly and I definitely see the difference. I Haven't worn makeup on a regular basis in over two years, but I want to start back at least wearing it for videos. Thank you so much for all of your tips and explanations for doing what you do!
I must say this is the best tutorial I've seen!!!! love the comparison between the past and now. I too did the full black eyeliner and even used to melt it before applying
I laughed several times. I am so guilty of using a product because a. It was prestigious b. I liked the color c. It looked good on someone I admired d. I was too shy to ask the counter girl for help. You are an incredible teacher.
I know this is over a year later but I'm just seeing this now haha. But thank you sooooooo much for making this video. At 23, I'm starting to shed my "classic" makeup routine that I've pretty much done since I was 16. I made most of these "common mistakes" like not even 6 months ago! Especially with the hooded eyes and concealer. But I'm learning and this video was extremely helpful! Thanks so much :)
Love this post! Got some good tips and also brought me back to the days I used to overpluck my brows and pencil them in, where foundation that was barely in the right shade range with a pink undertone or something that left me looking dirty or gray. When I was a teenager I thought my skin was the wrong color. I realized later that beauty companies just weren’t making shades and formulations for my skin. (I’m Filipina and have naturally tan skin with a yellow undertone that tans easily and can shift 3 shades depending on sun exposure.) I would say my biggest struggle is finding the right base and even now if my tan has faded or darkened I’m still guilty of wearing the wrong foundation sometimes and find that salespeople and makeup artists also frequently match me to the wrong shade.
did anyone else get alarmed by the vase on the left that kept appearing out of nowhere (autofocus kept making it vibrant every now and then so I would think it just came out of nowhere)
Omgosh the black eyeliner is so me! I actually just stopped doing it bc I was in a hurry & just forgot. Seeing this just sealed the deal. Thank you for doing the whole face this totally changes the way I do my makeup.
I feel like a lot of people use soooo much concealer now for their highlight that it basically gets blended over their entire face and now it's all that highlight color all over lol
Hi Stephanie! I subscribed last night after watching your morphe video. I am now a major fan of your channel I absolutely LOVE that you are so informative and education on products, brushes, ingredients yada yada I have yet to find another makeup RUclipsr like yourself. Your channel is so unique and I love your personality and your voice is so soothing!
Stef I have watched a huge amount of make up channels and never seen putting a black base on the eye before the purple eyeshdow it was a fantastic idea. I totally agree with the foundation getting it properly matched I did that because i was finding i was buying 3 different drugstore foundations and being unhappy and actually it was my husband that said can't you go and get my foundation matched and i said to him but the foundation is more expensive and he was like you have just spent $80 on foundation none of which your going to wear. He said please go get it matched. Bless him i have never looked back. I had a friend the other day say wow you spend that much on foundation $60! and my husband jumped in and said i am still better off financially don't put her off. Plus now he is not dragged around to all the drugstores trying to help me find the right color. Loved this video.
The palette doesn't come with the eye shadows in them, you have to buy those separate. The palette that is $12/$6 is just an empty palette, if that's what you were thinking lol
Girl you just changed my life! I would never have tried a black base! That's brilliant I have never even see that done. I love using purple and pink makeup I have a green/brown hazel eye and those colors pop the green.
I watch your videos and feel like you're the elder sister I never had teaching me about make up and telling me right from wrong. hahah thank you for that! Love from India
am I the only one who uses concealer that's my skin tone and only uses it where I need coverage(under eyes & blemishes) rather than using lighter colors to highlight? :o
+kristin wilhelm I do if I'm going for a "natural" look. Natural for me lol. I highlight to add dimension to my face. It's certainly not necessary. It's an old drag trick lol
I always wondered why people do the triangle thingy with concealer! It makes sense now, for the most part. But it doesn't explain why 20-year olds with flawless skin do it... I only use concealer for blemishes. When I remember...
This video is fantastic! I've been looking for tutorials on RUclips and I can't even with the contouring sometimes - it just looks like way too much on a lot of the videos I've found. I've also had a hard time finding a good smokey eye tutorial that doesn't look clownish. This, on the other hand, looks like something I'm more comfortable with. Thank you for walking us through this!
I always avoid super dark colors on my lid' & would have never thought about using black under purple' but you are my favorite for the Truth' 😉 my only high end eyeshadow palette is tartelette in bloom' but i may play around with darker colors after seeing this' so thank you!
Can you tell us stories about your life.. You fascinate me bc your not like the other beauty Guru's on here and I5 mean that in a good way.. I truly enjoyed your about me video

what subreddit were you in?

Not all heroes where capes.
no, but some of them *wear* them
+Amy Clements lol love you
I wonder where they keep the capes they wear, I expect they were keeping them in the wardrobe!

I loved this! It wasn't so over exaggerated that half of your face looked like a drunk clown. I hate when I see these videos and they are ridiculous. Yours was informative and helpful :)
Ps thanks for taking the time to film when you were sick Xx
I love you! You are the most honest, straight to the point, no bs, informative RUclipsr I watch! You are genuine..and it comes across in your videos! 💓
This is the first channel I've trusted in a long time for anything lol 😩
I actually like the false eye lashes on your right side! Itd beautiful how they are placed.
The eye makeup on the "wrong" side definitely makes your eye look more open and awake for some reason.
Tbh I feel like a ton of youtubers contour/highlight look like the don't side lol
TRUUU
it's because they don't Contour because it's not contouring
Tbh, I feel a lot of youtubers are 10-15 years younger than her. Age and experience helps a ton! In addition, others are often self-taught and home-schooled (in the way that they are not as exposed to as much diversity in people and styles and in-person feedback and interaction and social dynamic).
Can you recommend a good moisturizer for dry patches and also one that will even out your skin tone?
+Megan Enriquez I love the Belif True Cream Moisturizing Bomb. Check out my skin care playlist. Some good ones in there
+Stephanie Nicole okay, thanks! You really seem to know what you're talking about. So far I trust your opinion! I also really love hearing all about production and everything that goes on behind the scenes in the beauty industry. You're also very informative! I will be subscribing😊
+Megan Enriquez Thanks Megan
what about oil
Eucerin maybe?
Wow! the left (your right) looks so 'cheap' looking.
I'm a little late but keep up the good work
I am blown away! You look phenomenal without makeup!!!
Omg the stuff you do on your right side is exactly what i've done all my life. I'm so glad i found you so I can correct my mistakes!
I think the eye that you said was droopping because of the lashes actually gives the eye a more wide eye look.
I was thinking the same thing. The lashes came up over the hood of her eye which actually made the eyes look open like a "dolly eye"
+rosettegarbanz I agree. The lashes were more visible in the outer corner of the "bad" eye which drew the eye up. The "good" eye lashes were barely visible and just accentuated her hooded lid IMO. Everything else is right on though.
I agree, the eye she says is droopy looks totally wide open.
I was going to say the same thing! And it looked more natural!
Definitely agree. The lashes on the "bad" eye look much better.
Is it just me but the "wrong" eye looks bigger and better than the "correct" eye? I think it is do to the darker color she used.
I agree. I also don't see a huge difference in the lashes - the left side isn't really smaller or anything, it's just a different look. But she does say it's preference.
Yes it is due to the dark colors
I agree
I agree. I think the "correct" eye looked more awake up until eyelash application.
Yes I thought the same thing! And both sides pretty much look identical!
i never used to blend my eyeshadow in middle school & to make that worse my every day look was half sky blue on the lid & the other half dark blue. i was a MESS
I love you because of your attitude. No bias, no bs, very informative and straight to the point. I'm over here binge watching your stuff.
New fave RUclipsr, binge watching all your vids.
Same
I love how you kept saying that this was how you used to do it, it wasn't a put down, and it was really lovely.
I think all the highlighting that is popular right now is going to be like the 80's blush, blue eyeshadow and black waterline liner...it's too much...a little is pretty...but to each their own...and thanks for being one of the ladies who feels that too 😀
+Patty Orr Yeah, some are going WAY overboard lol
omgosh! thank you for these tips! I've been clinging to sparkly bronzer for forever!
this is so helpful! thanks for making this video
+Anna Forsyth Thanks for watching Anna
I know the feeling. I see my pictures from back then and I cringe lol.
Me too! I would also put black liner only on my inner water line... Oh, middle school me...
If you look at your eye size when u put the lashes on, the incorrect eye looks bigger! Rewatch
That's what I thought too...the incorrect eye looks bigger than the correct one
it's just because she has a lighter eyeshadow on that lid
I agree. I think it has something to do with the fact that the lashes start farther away from the inside corner on the "wrong side" which i think looks way better. She might want to trim them a bit shorter to avoid droop and the closed in look at the same time.
Oh good, I thought I was the only one!
christine vanb agree
I love how down to earth you are, I look back on old pictures of my makeup only a year ago and I think wow what was I thinking? What was I doing, that looks so awful and I thought it looked so good at the time! It's crazy how much you can grow and learn in such a short amount of time.
When I was 12 and I first started wearing makeup, I don't know why in the world I would do this, but I would put eyeliner under my eyes way too thick on purpose, then use my finger to wipe it off
lol i think i thought it gave me a nice smudged effect
I've been watching your videos nonstop for days!
that moment when both of the looks she showed are 10000% better than anything you can do with makeup XD
I think you have an awesome personality, as well, and I definitely subscribed to you
This was SO informative!!
Also how does that loreal lumi foundation hold up through the day? Is it full coverage?
Thanks Whiteny! I am dry, so the foundation holds up well. If you are oily I'm guessing it wouldn't hold up well
Extremely helpful to see the two different looks on your face at the same time....a very clear tutorial I will think about every time I do my makeup. Thank you!
I'm so happy you addressed the banana powder trend. It never made sense to me for all those pale people to use, because it is so noticeably yellow on them.
Agreed, also it looks silly on very dark skintones. I always wonder how makeup gurus think one shade fits all.
+Ellie Sue they know one shade doesnt fit all. they just want to make money lol
+ZoeyRush Probably true, but then again ben nye (for example) does have other shades, but everyone is just trying to fit this weird medium mold.
Ben Nye has some of the best powders I've ever tried, you just need to get it in the right shade. Hes got a wide range of shades you just have to find them. His 01 lightest stage makeup powder is what I use and I love it.
Just after the foundation and primer the correct side looks so much more lifted! I love your videos! You're gorgeous!
Thanks for tips! The only thing I'll keep doing is the falsies thing, I like the Japanese/Korean styled droopy puppy eyes
Yay! So happy I found your channel! 😊 love from Scotland 💗 x
I'm from Scotland too! Stephanie's grandmother is also from Scotland 😊 x
I must say this is the best tutorial I've seen!!!! love the comparison between the past and now. I too did the full black eyeliner and even used to melt it before applying
Finally one that isn't over the top crazy
The good eye with dark underneath the purple!! I can't wait to try that and it looks so beautiful.
I laughed several times. I am so guilty of using a product because a. It was prestigious b. I liked the color c. It looked good on someone I admired d. I was too shy to ask the counter girl for help. You are an incredible teacher.
I love your first video about the truth behind Morphe! I am now here all subscribed!
I can already tell you're my new favorite.
You're amazingly thorough I love all your vids and reviews, thank you for the makeup help!
I feel like a lot of people use soooo much concealer now for their highlight that it basically gets blended over their entire face and now it's all that highlight color all over lol
Stephanie really enjoyed this video and your black instead of white on the lid makes so much sense thank you for another fantastic upload!!!
I just found you on RUclips, love your videos tons ! Keep up the good work :)
lalanga2012 Thank you so much for the kind words & support!
Hey. You are so honest, i saw your video on skin tones , so educative ,easy to grab.... Yes i subscribed.thanks
I think the "bad" eye looks a lot more open than the "good" eye. The eyelashes being placed the way they are makes the eye look a lot bigger...
Amanda Shingar I was thinking the exact same thing
Oh good...it's not just me who thinks that!
FANTASTIC tutorial - I've watched many and they aren't as well explained and described as you have done here. Thank you, I learned a lot!
This was awesome!
+Jenna Monique Thanks Jenna!
Jenna Monique You are 100% correct! Loved this and love Stephanie!! Best guru and critic on the tube. 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Stephanie! I subscribed last night after watching your morphe video. I am now a major fan of your channel I absolutely LOVE that you are so informative and education on products, brushes, ingredients yada yada I have yet to find another makeup RUclipsr like yourself. Your channel is so unique and I love your personality and your voice is so soothing!
we used to "light" the business end of those red Maybelline black pencils then lay down the heavy eyeliner
I actually like that your videos are long because you provide so much useful information and tips! You go girl!
i used to put purple eyeshadow on my lids, black liner in my waterline, mascara and call it a day!! i'd look so crazy sometimes :D
Holy shit! Mac's eyeshadow palette is 12$ in your country?! Fuck! In my country, this Mac palette probably cost around 50 or 40$ without tax :')
They actually just went down in price to $6!
Not the entire Palette, the single shadows. ☺️
The palette doesn't come with the eye shadows in them, you have to buy those separate. The palette that is $12/$6 is just an empty palette, if that's what you were thinking lol
I don't think she meant the whole palette, but rather the single eyeshadows (12$ a piece). Please correct me if I'm wrong.
+Stephanie Nicole D: $6 *swoons*
Wow, girl, you are such a natural beauty!!! Without makeup and with makeup, you're just that timeless type of beauty!
I couldn't help but notice, you have such a pretty profile!
Girl you just changed my life! I would never have tried a black base! That's brilliant I have never even see that done. I love using purple and pink makeup I have a green/brown hazel eye and those colors pop the green.
Great video 💖 I'm a new MUA so really helps. Your so pretty either way though !
+Pariss Dee Thanks for watching
I loved this tutorial! I could really see you enjoying yourself, especially during the eyeshadow application, you're an amazing teacher :)
I watch your videos and feel like you're the elder sister I never had teaching me about make up and telling me right from wrong. hahah thank you for that! Love from India
this was one of the first videos that I've seen of yours without make up and honestly you look absolutely incredible with or without it
am I the only one who uses concealer that's my skin tone and only uses it where I need coverage(under eyes & blemishes) rather than using lighter colors to highlight? :o
+kristin wilhelm I do if I'm going for a "natural" look. Natural for me lol. I highlight to add dimension to my face. It's certainly not necessary. It's an old drag trick lol
+Stephanie Nicole Omg I can't believe you replied to me I love you & your videos give me life 😍
I do that lol. Also I don't contour because I just am not a fan
Thank you for walking us through this!
am I the only one who would proudly wear both sides :/ ...
Yep
Nope because 4 people just liked her comment in agreement :)
