there is a sealant layer on that bench top so putting a wax on top is a waste of time it will not Absorb into the wood .. u have to sand it first great vid 👍🏻
If your workbench has open wells or trays for large tools or parts, put down hardboard first then liner. The hardboard mitigates against dents without losing too much depth.
Brother from another Mother, I got the same set up. Bullet Blender, Coffee Pot, Ashtray and Tool's...Priorities, Nice 👍🏼 Keep Up the Great Work, we'll support You
Nicely done as always. I still have and throughly enjoy my 52” matte black Husky mobile workbench. I was on the fence for a while of purchasing the 52” top chest and placing it on the workbench. Yes it would certainly provide additional storage but, after much consideration I decided not to as it would defeat the workspace that work bench offers. It would also negate the use of the adjustable top as it would be too heavy to operate.
I read the reviews for that peg board, and everyone is having that problem. Most people just do what they have to so they can get a bolt in the holes. Some people have filed the bolt holes larger. It has been six months since you left this comment so, I hope you figured it out already. Tell us what you ended up doing, and how you like it.

It's like wax on a clear coat. Nothing wrong with adding another layer of protection over the clear.
1st thing I do when I see a Marine-X video is hit the 👍 because I know that the content and production quality are top notch.
Thanks brother
I like how you're thinking ahead--a little protection with wax and grease goes a long way to extending the life of your equipment.
