Yeah, so I'm that Skipper..... Thanks for putting this up! :)
+mattsme13 that's awesome! This might be a dumb question but are you actually driving the boat or is it being controlled by ride operations and you just perform?
I actually do control the bote (as we call them) speed and I'm performing as well. It's a lot of practice to be honest because you have to look around in the jungle, while telling jokes and watching the guests as well, but after you get the speed and timing down just right, the jokes flow out rather naturally. Takes a few months for things for it to become second nature and when it does, you have SO much more fun telling jokes and interacting with everyone :)
Well you did a great job!
Do they provide you with example jokes or do you make them up when you are hired?
Holly Jane it’s provided jokes they have to memorize, but they can choose which they want to do because there’s a lot.
"Zebras! Giraffes! Gazelles! Those random Florida ducks!" XD
😂😂😂
The puns are scripted but great and he has enthusiasm
I thought it was so punny !
The punniness is strong with you, young Jedi. 😆
My daughter is the young woman working the Fast Pass + station at the very beginning of this video (0:16-0:24). How awesome it was to see her in your video. Thanks for the chance to look in on her world.
David Biser ii
that's a crazy coincidence
*EPIC*
She's so lucky to work there!
What this isnt real lol
That cast member is incredible, omg, what a fantastic job he did
2:34 “It rains 365 days a year, some years they get rain every day!!!” 😂😂😂
I guess it Doesn't Rain on Leap Day During Leap Year.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
It's been 32 years since I've been to Disney world and I still remember it all this was my favorite ride
wow this has been here a long time ever since my mom was little. just like food products in the store, if you like it, it will be around a little bit longer lol
My husband has been deceased for over 20 years and we would try to get up there once a year and I would love love the chance to get up there again but I can't because of my disabilities but yeah this guy was really good but I still say Peter Pan with my favorite ride because it was like you were really flying and now they have this new thing called soaring which is wow I know I would love that and also Frozen
I was a Jungle Cruise Skipper from Spring of 1972 through Summer of 1973 when I was transferred to Tom Sawyer's Island rafts. We were still using the A-E ticket books then
First and only time I rode this (2009) was very memorable because the Skipper was flirting with me HARD.
Lol did he get anywhere with you?
My school’s bus driver used to work at Disney World and was assigned to the jungle cruise ride. One day we were coming back from a field trip and he recited this entire speech from memory.
The most dangerous part of our journey...return to civilization. Ouch savage!! 😆
this guy is good. silly jokes but all in good fun.
The Corny jokes get tiring after a while.
@@davidwesley2525what else do u expect from a kids ride lol
Amazingly imaginative puns. This guide's enthusiasm & delivery is so infectiously funny, his boat ought to be named the "African Scream"!
That guy was amazing - I'm sure the kids had a great time!
Who’s here after they announced they are changing the ride??
I don't understand anything that could have possibly be seen as racist here. Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way, but the way I see rides they are telling a story. And this one is a story about natives that are hostile. There is nothing wrong with that, like there are still tribes in the world today that are completely hostile to outsiders (look up Sentinel Island). Apparently you can't build a ride these days that has anything to do with people :(
@@baskingshark6609 actually when I went 2 years ago for my friend's bday we rode the ride and I stated to my friends that changes will happen to the ride and they asked me how so? I responded by saying "remember the pole scene with the rhino? Well some people might get offended at that because the figures on the pole have a WHITE explorer on top of the pole above NATIVE AFRICANS, it's only a matter of time till people go REEK at that". Guess I wasn't wrong.
@@scawfan75 So crazy.
@@baskingshark6609 probably the “savages” throwing speers at the boat can be seen as racist because no one in Africa acts like that
Me they are taking away Indians
I just watched the live action Disney film, Jungle Cruise. The first 10 minutes are basically this cruise here along with all the really bad jokes haha.
Damn wonder how many of these he can do before he flips and quits .
Dude for real! I couldn't wait for him to shut the hell up
@@joshualevandowski2767it’s his job to talk like that
I remember this ride when I went to Disneyland 7 years ago! Needed a recap for the movie that's out now. Brought back awesome memories! Thank you!
I like this ride because of all the corny jokes, the captain tells. They are so funny! I like the animals better when I was younger, but I still ride to hear those famous jokes!😂😂😂😂😂
I use some of those jokes in my everyday life. And my friends still like me!! lol
6:56 😅😂LOL at this one.
Who else is here after seeing the trailer for the movie?
I always liked the temple part of the ride, I was terrified of that tiger though
They used to actually shoot that gun..actually my family was the once the only family on during extra magic hours and they let me do it.
I love his enthusiasm
That crocodile joke prob wouldnt go over very well now..
That tour guide is amazing!
This is one of the best guys that I have seen and I have seen and been on this ride many times
I used to be terrified of this
me too hahaha, when the used to shot the gun first time I went straight to the floor
This is ride is dependent on the guy and his personality. Tough, i wonder how much time they go at once.
Going to see the Jungle Cruise movie tomorrow 👍🎥👀so thought I'd get a memory of when we were on that boat ty 👍💖
Long live Trader Sam, hope he has a good day wherever he is.👋
These puns are so bad, they are actually good
When I was like 3-4 I had nightmares from 6:57 😂
I absolutely LOVE this ride :)
I wonder if they cut the "watch your kids or a crocodile could get them" joke after that toddler was killed by an alligator at Disney
It's a legit warning at this point so no reason why they should remove it.
Yep, that’s exactly why they removed it.
Just saw the movie - was so excited this was one of my top fav rides :D thank you for posting !!
Those joke in Jungle cruise movie are actually fun and awkward at the same time 🤣
I love these puns so much! 😂
9:44 LoL 😆🤣
"The stew is Stu!!!" AHS fans anyone?
me: i’m not scared of anything 🙄
those animatronic hippos popping out of the water: hey bestie 😜
I had never rode this ride at Disney, but just saw the movie. So curious to see what the ride is all about 😁
They should have Mogali sitting on top of a elephant and waiving to say goodbye at the end of the trip.
I am so going to see the movie
I can’t believe that was a part of this ride until now
Because people have always been sensitive babies like you
This is like a safari in Tanzania on a boat
I saw the film yesterday. Now if only Dwayne would have been a guest skipper
What an incredible boat driver.
Here because of watching the movie!
this skipper was a riot!
…and then they made a movie based on this. Crazy, right?
It's actually very good.
@@phillipwalling7470 Yeah, surprisingly entertaining.
Half of those puns Sank on their maiden voyage
7:55 I ❤ this ride . I’ve been on it twice before it’s fun
Damn! This ride is still there? Whoa
I Love this Ride ❤
You know something. Some people saying that might be the plane from The Great Movie Ride.
To those who think this ride is 'racist', you know there are hostile indigenous tribes in real life, right? It's not a stereotype. There are plenty of documentaries on them.
the back side of the water 😂😂😂
I'm having flashbacks I think I was on this exact ride-
Hey again! May I use this footage, as well as your I Corsari footage, in a video I'm making about underwater animatronics? I will give your channel full credit.
No problem!
i know it's kinda off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream new movies online ?
@@louiscasen9676 soap2day its safe free and has everything
imagine falling off the boat in that temple thing. literally my worst nightmare
There's a movie based on this ride would be released on July 30, 2021, unlike July 24, 2020 was being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic
We just got back from our trip, we ALWAYS have to do the Jungle Cruise! Great video
The guide is incredible
Is there a silent jungle cruise option?
PLEASE
Yesss, I would LOVE that

0:16 is someone dying or........
Tarzan yell..
That's the queue radio. The guy on it is like an old school radio operator making announcements for the skippers and passengers.
"Will COL Williams...*cough* excuse me, I seem to have something in my throat...*cough* ah...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...*cough* Much better. Will COL Williams please report to the Minister General's office. Thank you."
Sounds fun
this guy is super funny😂😂😆😂😂😂
Hahaha I love this ride, its hilarious
+maree345 Especially if you have a good skipper!
Shit got real when he pulled out a gun
This is my mom and my favorite ride 😄🥰
The Rock brought me here lol
When I went, my guy had no enthusiasm AT ALL
Trying to find the "horrifyingly racist" scenes on the ride. It's like a where's Waldo, But the artist forgot to draw Waldo.
I know this sounds unreal but I got a Disney world ad on this.
Why don't they have that temple at Disneyland?
It would look epic!
beacuase they have an actual temple, the temple of the forbidden eye
Perhaps MK’s was necessary for design?
Because Disneyland was built with little space while Disneyworld had a lot of space available
Because Disneyland sucks
So I guess since IV just watch this ride experience Iv already seen the movie man talk about a short movie later
I love ur vids!!!!!!#I LUV ALTON TOWERS
I wonder if The Rock will pull a Johnny Depp and do a tour on this ride for guests 😂
Fun fact: in the "Adventures of sonic the hedgehog" episode called "Robotnikland" there is a ride that sonic goes on called "jungle ride" which is very similar to the jungle cruise ride.
So the all have to do the same lines, allowing for a bit of personalization...or not?
They do indeed
The recently released movie, JUNGLE CRUISE, brought me here.
The best part of Jungle Cruise: The backside of water
R.I.P. Jungle Cruise Alligators 1971-2016. But I'm sure Disney employees care just as much about us nostalgic adults as they do about the two year old boy who drowned three weeks ago, and hopefully they won't start doing horrible things like pulling that crocodile with the umbrella from "it's a small world" as well, otherwise Walt Disney World will lose even more of its charm than it has already. =(
what happened to gators? they took them out?
*****
Actually, they put them back on there four weeks later. That previous comment of mine is old news from June.
they really took out those gators because of the gator incident at resort?
Brian Draney sad thing is it’s kids being dumb and parents being bad not Disney’s fault
You really just shamed parents of a dead child? Your a real fucking hero. They were next to many other families, Disney allowed families in this area. Get your facts straight.
Heck, he has a fantastic memory or a great mime. A great kids ride. A little less church jokes and add some adrenalin.
Great PC fun
Which Disney ride was it that had wolves? I was a little kid at the time. It was 1994 or 95... i definitely remember these howling wolves that were sitting on posts in the water.
Hey, not sure if someone has info on this, but I remember when I was a kid, they would actually "fire" the gun during the ride and it would be hella loud. But, now I notice they don't do that anymore? Is there a specific reason for that?
that kid and crocodile joke did not age well
Why not? I thought it was hilarious! lol
Edit: Oh I remember the kid/alligator incident. But don't think the joke really affects people's experience at the park though.
Wow, we already found the skipper here and the fast pass too, now where’s Dwayne in the comment section?
This ride should be at Animal
Kingdom lol
Animal Kindom has it's own tour, just it's a truck/bus and with real animals.
@@eliaspeter7689& No Corny Jokes 😅😅😅
This is more than a animal kingdom atraction
I am gonna go see the movie
I heard the water isn't deep
It's not deep at all!
I never went on splash mountain, due to the huge line, but for the life of me, I can't remember why we didn't go on THIS ride....
I have a 2 yr o;d who loves anything animals related. are the lines for this ride so long? Do you think I will need a fast pass for this? how long is usually the wait times for this ride?
+Mary France Biyok It tends to get around a 30 minute wait most of the time
+Theme Park Worldwide thanks for your response I will get the fast pass if its 30 mins my toddler is not that patient when it comes standing in line. Thank you
Get there first thing in the park, and/or get Fast passes for other rides to do with little wait after riding the Jungle Cruise. Have fun!
Who’s here after watching the movie?
Jungle Cruise was so good!
Well, I'm here before watching the movie. 😂
Erm so what’s “horrifyingly racist” about this ride because there’s nothing at all soo...
Here because of the movie
