Apparently Gerard tore a ligament in his foot, Bob got 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his leg, and Frank, Ray, and Mikey somehow all hurt their fingers from like, playing too fast idek?? Anyway, I'd say it was definitely worth it for this amazing music video! The grand finale to The Black Parade is pretty grand, and it definitely deserved a great music video. And you mentioned how you love hearing my fun facts in a reply to my comment on another video, and that makes me very happy because I love giving everyone all my useless knowledge about MCR! And I have literally no idea who my favorite member is to answer your question.. Maybe Gerard? I dunno, he seems like a really cool guy! Damn I got here real early 😳 I opened up yt and saw that this was uploaded like 2 minutes ago and I was so ready This is my favorite mcr music video out of all of them. It’s technically kind of boring compared to the rest of them, no crazy story and effects, just straight performance in the dead of night with a f*ckton of fire. I love it though, the darkness surrounding everything, the rawness of just the pure performance There’s a bit of backstory to this video. It’s kind of hard to see cause it’s in the background, but they actually burned the parade float from the welcome to the black parade music video for this one. Also nearly everyone was injured during the making of this. Bob (their drummer at the time) came out the worst with a 3rd degree burn on his leg that ended up sending him to the hospital with an infection. Gerard tore a ligament in his ankle, and two of the guitarists broke some fingers (I can’t remember who out of mikey, frank and ray it was though) I don’t know, just something about how the song has themes of dealing with fame and being in a band on the road and the fact that the black parade era was such a hard time in the band’s history, and here they’re burning all of it to the ground and saying they’re going to continue on… I’m rambling too much here lol but it really hits home for me One last thing, since you really liked looking at the guitars, there’s an interview frank did with ernie ball during the pandemic where he shows off his *massive* collection of guitars. I swear he has at least 100, it’s insane. I’d imagine that ray probably has quite a few as well but he’s a lot more private than frank is Anyways, I’m so glad you reacted to this.
