This is the only song that calms my son enough to help him sleep. We randomly stumbled upon it when he was ~1 yr old and it’s been on rotation especially on rough nights since then. He’s almost six now! He hears other versions of this song at Christmas and says “Mom, that’s not MY O’ Night. It’s not right. I need Ms. Lauren’s O’ Night, please.” So while it’s not meant as a lullaby... it provides comfort and peace to even the youngest among us and that’s what worship should do, right?

I love that she didn't take the short route on this song like so many others have. This is how this song should be presented. Lauren has great restraint singing this song ... That is not an easy task. Those with incredible range in their voices tend to over do the high notes often ripping this song to shreds. Well done Lauren!
