Excellent video. ✔ Thank you for telling the truth. Many fail to realize that a lot of US cities are extremely dangerous. You seem to give an accurate account. You can add some more cities to the list. 😑
Your tax dollars are going to waste in Columbus, Ga if you are low to moderate income earner. Public safety-especially at night- has been completely eroded in the eastern and southern areas. You would think having one of the largest military bases next door would provide a blanket of security in this town but no, quite the opposite. Neighborhoods near Ft Moore are dangerous with frequent gunfire. East Columbus near Macon Road, Morris Road, Buena Vista Road and the Forrest Road area sound like a war zone at night. People who live within the confines of this terror will suffer from PTSD. Believe it!
I love your videos, but the depiction of Baltimore was painted with a a very broad brush. I assume it’s from not having spent time there. As a Baltimore City resident I will agree, we have a LOT of issues , but this City has a rich African American history, wonderful (free) festivals , great food scene, beautiful architecture. I could go on. I’m a middle class AA, who lives in a predominantly middle class AA neighborhood( Reservoir Hill). Most people in this community could afford to live outside the city, but choose to reside here, because it’s simply not as bad as you suggest. I encourage you to change your position about never stepping foot here. If you enjoy St. Louis, and Detroit. I promise you’ll have a good time here.
You need to understand the difference between municipal and state governments. The responsibility of running a town is not state government. If jobs were not exported to China and Mexico then poor towns would have those jobs. Towns collect the revenue for roads, schools, and infrastructure. The state is responsible for state projects including state roads. It does not help this country to have an open border. State government also supports hospitals, Medicaid, and colleges.
