Yay!! Another Cutest Snowman to add to my collection!!! #1 was my very 1st painting I ever did with you, Michelle!! Actually, my very 1st REAL painting on a canvas and with acrylic paints!!!! I was instantly HOOKED!!!! Thank you, Michelle for everything you for us!!!! Love you!!! xoxox
Michele, precious painting and I really appreciate your time and patience to bring us these videos, I don't think there's another artist that explains things so detailed, thx
Wow, thank you very much! This means a lot and is very much appreciated! Everything helps to keep my dream alive of painting and teaching! Have a creative day!
Oh my dear, isn't he just a little darling. Michelle, I can't believe how adorable this is. The little girl in me just wants to give it hugs & cuddles. 💕🩵💙
Michele I absolutely love watching you, you have inspired me to start painting again ( it’s been many years ) I can’t wait to do this one later today, loving the little snow man it so adorable!! I painted one of your snowman Sunday night on a small 8x10 canvas it turned out so cute! ❤thank you for all you do for us viewers 😊
So excited to try this tutorial. You are an amazing teacher, and you make me feel competent as an artist when I would never have believed I could paint. Thank you SO much!! I want to comment about your Patreon page, too. I don't make a lot of money so I never even looked at your Patreon, figuring I couldn't afford it. But all y'all out there who think like I do?? It's less than 3 bucks a month for the first level. And it's soooo worth it! I got a little bonus from work and spent a little over 30 bucks to sign up for a whole year. Doooo itttttttt!
That is so awesome! Warms my heart that you used your bonus to join patreon. I hope to see you in the Facebook group soon and I hope you get to enjoy all the benefits!
I gotta say you are easy to watch, your breakdown is very beginner friendly, thank you! I noticed your image links to squarespace are your own paintings. Thank you for offering free reference photos, that is very generous of you.
Michelle is reading my mind cos she must know I will wind up with a monochrome billiard table if she doesn't explain. Thank you Michelle you darling girl. I'm trying this....tonight. God bless. X
Thank you Michelle. I am binge watching my way through " the Corona". Thank you so much. I can't wait til I can paint one of the paintings I have watched. It has helped me so much. I know that was not your intention..LOL..but I am grateful. I am really enjoying the Santa/Christmas ones right now.
I love learning from you. My daughter and I paint together while watching your tutorials. Her school does not have art class so you are a god send. Recently one of my daughter's teachers started an art club. That was awesome. Unfortunately the teacher is responsible for buying supplies. That's the way it goes. Thank you for your awesome tutorials.
When you mix your “custom colors” can you have your camera zoom in on that frame? I find it difficult to SEE what color you’re actually going for, not that you don’t describe it perfectly, but seeing IS believing.
Hi Vicki, I purchase all my canvases already primed. Much easier for me considering how much I paint. You can use a layer of acrylic gesso for added adhesion but it's not necessary if your canvas comes primed. Have fun!
You are amazing painted your snowman from watching your tutorial and my friends were shocked I told them I learned from you . I love your tutorials your the best thank you . Robert

Love love love this. Michelle I have a question. About how much base paint do you find you mix up to cover the 16x20 canvas? I'm always running out. Thank you.
Hi Valerie, I use a student grade paint, so it spreads pretty far. If I had to guess, I would say about 1/2-1oz depending on the color and how many layers you wanted to put on. I hope this helps. Have fun painting!
Hi Paulette, yes, you can for personal use but anything beyond that such as ads, prints, or teaching classes requires you to purchase a license. Have fun!

And also I want to make this in a 24 by 30 inch So I have no idea how much paint I would need. Do you have any guideline to help me figure that out? Thank you so much for your videos. Hi Debbie, I do not pre-prep my canvas, as I use a pre-primed canvas that is ready to go. I explain in the video what colors I use for the base coat. As for quantity of paint, I am using a student grade paint which has quite a bit of fluidity to it, so my paint spreads pretty far. You can view the quantity of paint that I use on my palette in the video. I am using a 16x20 inch canvas in the video, so you will most likely use about 1.5 times the qty of paint that I use. I hope this info helps. Have fun painting!
