    I wish we could've seen a full view of the bar in the car instead of zoomed in the whole time

      +ghettobird2012 Yea i need to get another camera set up for an overall shot of when I do stuff, but i figured the zoomed in of the bolts and other pieces would help.

    how difficult does this make it to get people and large objects in and out of the backseat?

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  7 лет назад

      Alex Hex People should not be allowed in the back after putting a bar in. It is way too dangerous but as far as getting things out, it's not a huge deal it doesn't stick out too much.

    why did you put back the oem harness?i would just install new racing harness along with the harness bar and got rid of the stock harness ,just dont look good to me.

      Juan Nunez It's just for ease of use, like if I have a 2min drive somewhere putting on 5 points get old after a while.

    Why put the the original seat belt in if you’re using harnesses??

    • @coryhibbard8606
      @coryhibbard8606 2 месяца назад

      Daily (street use) and track use (harness) most likely. 6 pt not always legal/ always ideal for street.

    Hey wondering on putting one in my 03, how much backseat space does it compromise?

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад +4

      Theres not a whole of room back there anyway but i wouldn't recommend putting people back there.

    hey im buying the same thing soon just wondering where the actual harness all bolts to?

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад

      +Al Blades The shoulder harness will wrap around the bar and then it has a plate with slots to wrap the strap back through, and the the lap belts are are bolted into where the normal seatbelt spots are and for the antisubmarine belt, I have that bolted to the floor underneath the seat.

    can people still fit in the back seats

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад +4

      They can but I would highly recommend against it, the bar is right at teeth level and if you got in a wreck it would be a bad day.

    An chance you know the size of it? i know the sizes very

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад

      The widest part on the b-pillar is 48 inches, and that is the size bar that i have, you can get smaller length I guess too if you adjust the seat belt connection higher.

    • @Bursti_
      @Bursti_ 8 лет назад

      So as you adjust the seatbelt connection higher you get a slimier length in the bar? so that means if you move it up higher you can get a 49" or even 50" ?

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад

      30lbs of boost_jpg The opposite, the widest part is 48" so as you go up it will be smaller, 47" 46"

    do you need the spacers

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  7 лет назад

      Chase Anderson for me yes I did need them but if you think that you wont and that will work best for you then don't use them.

  • @hunter23pierce
    @hunter23pierce 6 лет назад +1

    Would a length 48.75 fit?

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  6 лет назад

      hunter23pierce I am not sure but you would just have to measure on your car between the two bolts, and you can move the bolt position to help

  • @celder015
    @celder015 8 лет назад

    Is your back seat still functional as far as how much room you have? I've been debating getting one but I'm not sure how practical it would be for me

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад +3

      it's not to bad luckily we have decent room in the back. with that being said it is a lot more dangerous because you have a steel bar around chin level.

    Will this fit and work in a 2015 wrx limited ?

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад

      You will just have to check the fitment when ordering it, I am not sure of the size differences between the cars.

    what is the length of the bar you used?

    • @Deep6Rally
      @Deep6Rally  8 лет назад +1

      +Devan Kelsey The mounting holes are 48 inches apart. The NRG bars have a couple different sizes and the attachment points are kind of adjustable so you can have some play and I would home they come with a spacer to help with fitment.
