The first shot I saw when the echelons started was 5 Ineos riders and one pink guy and no white guys to see. But looks can be deceiving. Looking forward to Sunday for the big "My name is Tadej and I will do my Eddy Merckx impersonation now!"-show.

Ideal progress (imo): he wins this giro, rests and don’t do the tour, goes to vuelta and wins. Then rest and aim for roubaix next year. If he can pull that off, and I’m certain he can, he would be in the very small category of racers who have won all three grand tours, plus roubaix and flanders. True cannibal
