- This Kit is from www.motoelectricracing.com and its a 72v 5000w kit with a 32AH battery 18650 cells and a 100amp BMS. The Controller is a Sabvoton 72100 which pulls 100Amps MAX. I was very shocked at the results I got! Also at the top speed I was getting towards the end of the video. You can watch the whole video to get an idea on how I got the range I got or go to the end of the video to find out the info. The range I accomplished at my riding style is very impressive I will say!

I went with 20s3p - 48Ah of big lipo in a armored welded box, and instead of the controller mounted underneath like many bomber clones, I mounted a 25A actively cooled waterproof and dustproof charger under there. I'm pretty anxious to see what mileage I'll get out of it, but that charger built into it means I can use EV stations with a small adapter, 50A RV sockets, or even use 120v outlets outside of shops if I need to. I plan to do a couple 800+ mile rides north-south across the country from the Canadian border to the Gulf, so range and convenient charging are essential.
You definitely want that armored box; I wouldn't want to be anywhere near a lipo that big if it decided to blow. I used to fly FPV drones with small 24wh batteries, and one of them blew up, spewing smoke and some flames everywhere. Kinda made me more cautious about abusing the batteries.
@@kwadkrazy6078 yeah, you do gotta keep on them a lot more. Keep them at nominal whenever they sit for more than a day or two, not charging them to 100%, not discharging them too far, not letting them get physically damaged, etc. It's a good idea to not buy cheap ones too lol. I went with HRB 25C ones, very consistent size and voltage. The cheaper 10C ones look very iffy, I wouldn't chance it on those.

At least you got bike lanes....... In my neck o' the woods we have NO bike lanes and when our council wanted to start implementing them we were told to leave our european needs out of the politics here...... So, be thankful for what you have there, it's more than we have out here..... I enjoy the longer vids 'cause I get to see parts of a country that no touristy video will ever show you, and to me even seeing that and seeing how people like yourself have to navigate traffic and other conditions there gives me some insight to your town...
Super 73 model. I upgraded this one with dual 52v 20ah Samsung cell lithium battery packs, custom 40amp 2000watt sine wave controller, large color display, upgraded motor hall sensors, integrated bright headlight & taillight, and a couple other performance mods. The bike can now travel 35-40 mph instead of the factory 20mph limit. It has incredible torque for hills and can even do wheelies from a dead stop. It has a travel range of about 70-90 miles depending on the rider’s weight and road conditions with both batteries. This one has both throttle and pedal assist with 5 levels of power. Everything is brand new with zero miles. It’s built on a quality light weight aluminum frame with adjustable front and rear suspension. The color is dark green. Stops on a dime with hydraulic Tektro disc brakes and upgraded organic pads. Comes with new smart lithium battery.. tell me what u think ?????

Riding a silent vehicle that you sometimes pedal, that isn't quite as big as a motorcycle, people's perception isn't accurate when they see you coming. Can you imagine a bicycle approaching you at 55mph? Probably not, so be careful so you don't wreck, I need you for content so I can make decisions on ebikes :D

Here in Australia the regulations are so tight with e bikes even though we have so many bike paths. Great video though and what an amazing bike perfect for inner city dwellers and short 5-10 mile workplace locations. For myself I would get a 5 day week range just to and from work. 👍

My guess is 45-60 miles on mine. I’ve pushed it to about 30%batt left and I’m taking big hill climbs and regen braking is at level 10. My average speed is 20 mph as we don’t have that much open long straight aways. At one point I had regen on 50. Slows the bike down so hard that I didn’t use my brakes at all even going downhill. I didn’t see any real battery benefits and I only use three mode settings vs five. I’ll do a range test and map out my EV charging station as I have an adapter for the ev stations and see how far I can get but I don’t have much free time or I would have made some vids. Get some tires and brakes!!

I think 40 miles is about right, 60 just cruisin around 20-25 mph and I'm sure there are plenty out there willing to go slower, unlike us speed demons, lol.

I don't think your pedaling would fool any cop since it's so slow for your speed, but if you happened to gear the bike differently so you could actually pedal at that speed then it should be no problem.

I think you're driving is fine I'm 62 and I would probably go a little faster I have a Surron and I'm getting a BAC 8000 I'm looking into a 72 volt battery so I too like to go fast

It was fine besides two things, class 3 is fine on roads and he was in the cycling path, which is the main thing the police are going to have a shit fit about, I suggest you ride in the normal traffic lanes. Class 3 should only do 27mph, but the biggest concern I can gather from the laws is riding something that fast where pedestrians and pedal bikes are. Most cycling paths/lanes restrict it to class 1 or ban ebikes altogether.
I getting ready to order a bigger hub motor for my Super 73RX and l have the option for 150 amp controller do you think that's too much or should l get the 100
100 is enough for most people. If you do go 150amp make sure your battery can handle that also.

no. the bike needs to get some type of input for the light to stay on, it turns off because it thinks the bike is idle. the brake level connected to the stock system does nothing. i think added a throttle might help and tapping it every so often but that's a pain...

No. It might fit on other bikes but not all. The enclosure is made only for this bike tho
You come up so quickly behind people so it’s not their fault they’ve already turned or stopped in front before they see you. You’re just suddenly there. Speed kills and there’s zero protection on an electric bike. It’s the same as riding a motorcycle.
Nearly silent too, most guys on motorcycles prefer them loud so people know they're there. Nobody's gonna hear an electric bike in the city lol

It'd be awesome to somehow make it work...so you use your stock battery and controller exclusively for your brake lights and head lights but experience regular cut offs because of the absence of a motor connection....mmm. so could I somehow use a battery equal to the mod battery in voltage on the same controller and somehow get the all lights to work?

4 real, passing on the left of a double yellow at a turn lane... Brah, don't do that. It's bad for everyone, and no one else dose this on the road, ever, ride respectful.
If you must be in front, pass on the right and move into the turn lane at the front in the sidewalk area, even that will piss people off, so be careful out there.
