The name struggle is real!!! Sakura and Chaewon went to Le Sserafim Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin went to Ive Hitomi just debuted in SayMyName Other than Chaeyeon, other solists are: Choi Yena Jo Yuri Kwon Eunbi Truly a powerful group!
Wonyoung and Yujin from IVE was in IZ*ONE like Sakura and Chaewon from LE SSERAFIM and there is some of the IZ*ONE memebers who are Soloist now like Chaeyon
Thankfully pretty much every member went on to be in an insanely popular group, soloist or actress. A lot of times careers fizzle out after a temp group ends or worse they get stuck in contract purgatory without any promotions and aren't able to go out on their own.
Guide to known faces: 1:36 - Wonyoung - Now she is member of IVE - and one of the most loved kpop idol 1:43 - Yujin - another member of IVE, actually she is now more popular than in Iz One, where she was very underrated. 1:51 - Sakura - member of Le sserafim, for me overrated idol in both groups, IMHO 2:06 - Chaewon - she is Le sserafim too....she is bright star of that group(one only probably) 2:10 - Queen Eunbi - soloist - you should check her solos, "Underwater" - as a Waterbomb queen;) _ She is my one of Ult biases:) 2:43 - Yena - another soloist she had some popularity 6:00 - Jo Yuri - Power vocal of Iz one, now she is successful soloist, you should check her solos too: "Taxi" "Love Shhh"
Izone was and is one of the biggest groups ahah. There’s a funny story about a super close album sales battle between TWICE and IZONE. At the time, both groups were competing in sales, and it came down to just one album making the difference. TWICE ended up winning because they sold exactly one more album than IZONE. The twist? It turns out that an IZ*ONE member accidentally contributed to TWICE’s win-because she actually bought one of TWICE’s albums herself! So, in a way, she unknowingly helped her group lose the sales competition. Fans found the situation both ironic and hilarious.
Rosé just gave an amazing performance in Paris to 35k people it was insane she brought them from tears to singing and dancing along with crazy crowd interaction one of the best performances she's done. she performed with Chinese pianist Lang Lang, an orchestra, and a live band that Bruno Mars helped to put together to support Rosé in her live performances they were with her in Japan, Jimmy Fallon, and BBC1. it really is a can't miss performance. Rosé : "Stay a little longer" (ft Lang Lang), "Toxic till the end", "APT." - Gala des Pièces Jaunes'
Jo yuri is also very popular now after being in the group. Shes a soloist and played number 222 in squid games together with thanos (aka top from bigbang. Omg bigbang are so fantastic, tho they had 5 members and now 3, they will forever be 4 in my heart❤) maybe you should check bigbang out
wow it iz*one time . the story that never end . the legendary iz*one . the famous wonyong "luci in altis" during fiesta MV , 12 moon and the greek goddess reference still imbue in memory
Additional.. The reason why fans opposed the disbandment. Because they were unable to do actual activities for more than half of the total contract period. The vote rigging scandal and the global disease outbreak. There were many requests to extend it by at least one year and six months.
So on the decision of disbanding temporary groups it comes down to many different entities being involved. The concept is that companies send a few of their trainees to these tv programs in order to gain pre debut exposure. The contract length is limited since the labels want to get the idols back for their own projects. Especially if the group was successful it perfectly did its job creating hype for their future endeavours. There are attempts to renew contracts, but it's hard to get every party to agree, some have more concrete plans than others and don't want to wait more years. It's sad to lose the groups of course, but you kinda have to go into it with the expectation that it won't last and instead follow the members on various paths.
I agree, there seem to be sooo many people involved in K-Pop! It’s very interesting to see the effect on that as a culture - along with side effects - as opposed to what youth does in other cultures. I still think it’s a net positive, bad things can be present in every choice. Sometimes people dwell on the controversy without seeing the good. Look for and accentuate the positive! ❤😊
This team won first place on a music show on the 4th day after their debut. It's something that's impossible, by common sense. There's a reason for that. Produce 48 was a huge success. They had a large fan base even before they debuted. The reason this open audition was successful was because it was a Korea-Japan match. In Japan, the top female idol group, AKB members, competed. In Korea, trainees competed. Originally, many trainees who were unfortunately pushed out of the debut group that was being prepared within the company participate in these open auditions. This is natural from the company's perspective. However, since this audition is similar to a national competition... Korean companies also end up sending away their main trainees. (In the end, this becomes the biggest reason for the disbandment later on.) Anyway, this is the first Korean public audition that has a structure similar to a Korea-Japan national competition, and it is a system where it is broadcast in both Korea and Japan and the winners are selected through voting. The broadcast begins and they are both surprised by an unexpected turn of events. The concept of idols in the two countries was completely different. They were so different. In particular, contrary to the expectations of Korean viewers, the skills of the Japanese contestants were too low. (Because AKB was the top female idol group in Japan.) Simply put, this difference was because the two countries had different demands on idols. However, as the show progressed, the Japanese contestants' skills grew at a frightening rate. Although there was a big difference in absolute evaluation, the growth rate was frightening. Anyway, you have to watch Produce 48 to understand this story correctly. It's very fun. The devil's editing was also an element that made it fun. The reason IZ*ONE became so successful is because they had a huge fan base before their debut. Since their debut, there have been so many stories about them, including their top position, the discovery of Produce 48 vote rigging, the global pandemic, and their disbandment.
IZONE- Fantastic k-pop group made up of very talented ladies who can all sing & dance! Also, great visuals! If you want a 24 member group check out Triple S!
The music, not so special but solid. The visuals however are amazing...top quality. So many pretty faces. So many gorgeous settings. A beautiful, interesting video IMHO.
@2:50 😂😂Well if that's the case Mrs. Coach, time to introduce you to tripleS: The largest girl group in kpop history with 24 members! React to their 24 member debut "Girls Never Die" if yall have the chance. Cheers! 🥂#lalala
That was a cool song. Not my favorite, but a nice one. I agree, the big groups always gives me a headache. Somewhere around 7-8 is my maximum, after that I start getting confused. On the other han, in Japan, you have groups like Sakurazaka46 which has (you guessed it) 46 members. They even rotate out members after a couple of years and start rotating in younger generations, so the groups can go on for many years just replacing the members one by one. To keep up with that seems daunting, so say the very least. Either way, fun reaction and I completely agree, this group has talent and could probably have done more.
La Vie en Rose is the best IZ*ONE song. Also you should check out Yena she's was in the group and is a soloist now. Also some of them are hard to recognize because they were actual babies. Wonyoung and Yujin from IVE debuted in IZ*ONE at 14.
Oh im back commenting! So they didnt renew because of the controversies that happened and because the company that made izone didnt “own” the idols. Like sakura were still a part of her japanese contract while being in izone
I remember watching the Show Produce 48 that decided the members. It was a sham as the girls were already predetermined anyway. Kim and Sakura went to Le Ssersfim, and two of the girls did indeed go into Ive. Sakura was in AK48 in jn Japan. I think Kim was too. I also watched the reality show for this group too. That song passed quickly. The group was more a marketing and selling thing rather than a career type group. The group disbanded and probably didn't reform due to the fraudulent formation.
The name struggle is real!!!
Sakura and Chaewon went to Le Sserafim
Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin went to Ive
Hitomi just debuted in SayMyName
Other than Chaeyeon, other solists are:
Choi Yena
Jo Yuri
Kwon Eunbi
Truly a powerful group!
Thanks for that info. It is hard to keep track! But glad to see several from this group went on to further success.
Wonyoung and Yujin from IVE was in IZ*ONE like Sakura and Chaewon from LE SSERAFIM
and there is some of the IZ*ONE memebers who are Soloist now like Chaeyon
im telling you all IzOne would have been MASSIVE if they had been alowed to continue
Thankfully pretty much every member went on to be in an insanely popular group, soloist or actress. A lot of times careers fizzle out after a temp group ends or worse they get stuck in contract purgatory without any promotions and aren't able to go out on their own.
In my opinion they were the third most powerful girl group in kpop from 2018 to disbandment
Guide to known faces:
1:36 - Wonyoung - Now she is member of IVE - and one of the most loved kpop idol
1:43 - Yujin - another member of IVE, actually she is now more popular than in Iz One, where she was very underrated.
1:51 - Sakura - member of Le sserafim, for me overrated idol in both groups, IMHO
2:06 - Chaewon - she is Le sserafim too....she is bright star of that group(one only probably)
2:10 - Queen Eunbi - soloist - you should check her solos, "Underwater" - as a Waterbomb queen;) _ She is my one of Ult biases:)
2:43 - Yena - another soloist she had some popularity
6:00 - Jo Yuri - Power vocal of Iz one, now she is successful soloist, you should check her solos too: "Taxi" "Love Shhh"
There's the MVP, showing up in the comments with this great info. 😁 Many thanks!
Yes! My favorite IZ*ONE MV!

That's crazy! 😁
😂😂😂 Nako Yabuki

Izone was amazing, you should react the live version of this song, the choreo is crazy!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Jo yuri is also very popular now after being in the group. Shes a soloist and played number 222 in squid games together with thanos (aka top from bigbang. Omg bigbang are so fantastic, tho they had 5 members and now 3, they will forever be 4 in my heart❤) maybe you should check bigbang out
What you mean now 😂😂😂 She always been popular scrub
@ i said shes also popular after the group? I didnt say because of the show? I added squid games last because she isnt only popular for that
wow it iz*one time . the story that never end . the legendary iz*one . the famous wonyong "luci in altis" during fiesta MV , 12 moon and the greek goddess reference still imbue in memory
Hitomi was my Bias for Iz*one. Now she back in korea with a new group called SayMyName.
Additional.. The reason why fans opposed the disbandment. Because they were unable to do actual activities for more than half of the total contract period. The vote rigging scandal and the global disease outbreak.
There were many requests to extend it by at least one year and six months.
Not that there is a good time to have a pandemic, but that's really a tough break with that timing.
Yea a couple in IVE. A couple in le sserafim. Kwon Eunbi & Choi YenA 2 of the best soloists in the industry and I think one of them in squid game lol

Makes sense.

If you get the chance I highly recommend both “Knock” and “Don’t” by Chaeyeon. I love the videos but her dance performances are also amazing!

46 is just insane. That's a whole hobby in and of itself, to keep track of that one group. LOL

Hey i was wondering when yall will drop the no cap music video reaction to "heaven for a thug" which i suggested a couple of weeks ago
We are out of town right now. We have a huge list (probably thousands to be honest) of requests, but we try to get as many as we can.
please reaction to rosè stay a little longer, Toxic till the end, and APT Gala des Pièces Jaunes
