You literally got me into nostalgia.
In 2017-18 I got my first gold medal in SOF International General Knowledge Olympiad as a class topper.
That was one of best feelings ever as a std 9 kid. I have a really sweet memory with that medal is that when I awarded that medal during morning assembly, my crush among the crowd literally cheered for me 😅.

In my old school i used to get books instead of medals and certificates, i almost have 12-13 books then from new school i have almost 10 medals and 25 certificates. I too feel proud about it!!

While me who literally got no medal/trophy and preparing for jee couldn't do anything last year got 91%ile and now 94%ile after taking drop and today was the second jee attempt and i know and now i think my parents use to say correct that 10th class Tak toh kuch kar nahi paya drop leka kya ho jaega and now i know this video is so depressing for me tho motivating for others
Don't be depressed bro,I got just 2-3 medals of imo in schools,I got 55%ile(lowest previous year) and 85%ile(highest previous year).But I took a drop and studied hard and got 97.3%ile.Just so you know,you can always be good at something if you have proper guidance,hope,willingness to work and consistency.Its gonna work out mate! ❤️

I am a jee 2022 aspirant . I practice Karate and I am doing it since when I was in 5th . I used to appear for certain competitions in which there are certain levels - District, state , nationals and international . I tried for four years and I just reached the state level ... But I wanted to play the nationals , which I couldnt . It was in 2019 , I was in 10th and I reached the state level and it was my last match .... After that covid came and sports was , as u know .. But it gave my a lot of confidence in life that if I got some more chances , I would have won nationals ... But after that JEE came , the IIT dream . And that's it . Literally I forgot about my sports life , but your medals remembered me , that I had tried something else in my life .... ❤️❤️❤️ My dream college is IIT Kharagpur . May happen we may meet soon .❤️❤️❤️

And i got 14 books like atlas encyclopedia for kids etc in exchange of gold medals (now i m not good at pcm 😭😭 lots of cry) and now i dont have any medal to put in my almirah
