My favourite place in Thailand. I always stay on the VN Guest House and hangout with the jaded expats in Aussie Rules Bar. Everyone has the favourite place. Lovely place to relax

Excellent Sean 👍. I'm off to Kanchanaburi myself in 2 weeks time for my first time ever. Have met a youngish lady on Thai Cupid her family lives up there so she's going to drive me up there from Bangkok after I've spent 8 nights at the Adelphi on Soi 8. Could have watched another 20-30 minutes of this vlog. Cheers buddy 🍻. Those 2 cats did sound like kids. I wonder what the Wee hostel is like 🧐. TV = Transvestite 🤣 👍

I,ve stayed at the phong phen guest house a couple of times 764 bht inc breakfast on agoda,. good choice of rooms pool/restaurant ,. 764bht is the cheapest at the moment,. i will go to kanchanaburi again for a third time,.
Kanchanaburi is one of my top places. You can stay in a raft room on the river really cheap. The more you look, the more attractions there are. Chinese temples across the river, caves, fish feeding raft, temple complex (with huge horse sculpture!) and market by the river. The war related things, train ride along the Death railway, Erawan Falls, the night market, enormous spreading tree I haven't visited yet, or the elephant sanctuary...not to forget River Kwai Road and its restaurants and bars
Back to debatably your equal favourite location around Thailand only rivalled by Kamala and the Pond. I remember this was your R & R location previously when you needed a bit of an unwind moment. Great location and looking forward to plenty of local content. Certainly Kanchanaburi is a favourite with the tourists and also it's very close to where my wife's family are located so for me its the whole family are watching in. Cheers buddy 🤩
This is big province, I hope you can visit Thong Pha Phum national park, E Tong village (หมู่บ้านอีต่อง) border to Berma border there you can have fresh mud crab from Burma.
😶🌫️Hello out yonder Sean😮😊❤Your room looks nice clean & comfy do you have a microwave? So you found some happy cig😅for later🤠🥳👍Another enjoyable vlog Sean thanks for sharing🎉😊👍
Hi Sean thought you might of headed to the Lambretta cafe in Bangkok, be right up your street in there and would make a great vlog, especially if you go while they have a meet up on, you might even be able cadge a scooter to join them if your lucky. PS if you do, then ride it like you stole it... KTF !!!!!
I did see the Lambretta Factory shop, I am back to Bangkok soon, I do have some Vintage friends to visit an I do believe they still have they Lambretta's, Cheers buddy
Went there on our first time in Thailand 2005, wanted to get to see the death railway as My uncle had served there in the second world was and was a prisoner working on the railway, to this day the best trip I’ve been on anywhere in the world , great value and a real eye opener, we went from Bangkok for the day 👌
Great Vlog Sean, But as a tourist... What exactly is Kanchanburi known for or what are the attractions since most tourists go to Thailand for the beaches and islands. Thanks again Sean for sharing💞 xxx
Most foreign tourists go on a day trip from BKK due to its proximity. They visit the bridge over the river Kwai and Erawan waterfalls/ national park. During the weekends lots of local tourists come from Bangkok for the weekend. Aside from the 2 main visited attractions you can do a beautiful train ride and visit war history related spots and musea. The countryside is beautiful with some nice “mountains/cliffs” and there are a few unique temples that are really different compared to others. ( On a big hill/mountain or in a cave for example) . Many of the expats who live there are into golfing since the province/city is known for their golf terains.
