Honestly, the first time I saw a photo of this knife, I thought someone had repurposed the tip of a bowie knife. I didn't like the aesthetics at all, but, boy can it cut! What amazed me the most, is how small this big performer is. This just goes to show that your design philosophy is working Sean. When what looks like a kid's knife can outperform a larger big brand knife, you know you must be doing something right.
@@darylbrenton4839 Thanks! haha I agree, too. It’s one of those things where you get used to the stuff you’re working with, so back when I was doing a bunch of these they all looked normal to me, then I made a bunch of more traditional bowies, and now I’m into the sgain duhs and looking back these look funny, yes they perform amazingly. It’s that curve the whole way through (but not overly steep) that allows a cutting surface area that’s actually longer than just 2” even while it’s on a 2” blade.
