- In this video I'm going to show you guys how I got the Harley style springers to fit on my 2001 Honda Rebel 250. I'm sure there are other ways to do it but this is the way I did it.

Great lil bike. I'm an old Harley man but I'm also tinkering round with couple Honda's, 250 and 550 to build couple choppers with a lil more rake and stretch. Lol for a couple of my granddaughters, don't know which ones but with 17 grandchildren, I hope I can find two that may follow my lead in the biker world.

just by the look, it wasnt easy to cut of the neck section. maybe someday I would be doing rigid frame too on my Honda.. look beautiful already aspecially with springers on rear..🔥 cant wait to see next part..

I'm building a CB500-4 rigid and was using Nighthawk forks with anti-dive but I like this look better. I'll be shopping for a springer now.

If you don't mind me asking what speed transmission you are going to build? Reason be is I seen we're some add more gears to like a 4 speed giving it 6speed. I'm not sure that possible,and are you doing a giveaway as well on this one?
Chopping the headstock tube solves the problem of fitting the springer. It has to be square - perfectly 90 degrees or it will screw up the geometry of the frame. Stating the obvious perhaps. Love your builds. ❤

Years ago , cut the neck off a Harley welded. For a springer.and Raked it one inch ,. Suicide shift . Just putting together another 250 rebel , got an air bag ,air ride, maybe, just playing with it ,have access to Harley, debating on cutting neck again..springer, full fender next, foot clutch, awesome work keep it up.. been watching you for some time....

Also, this is a bit of an odd question but has anyone ever seen someone mount a triumph gearbox using a heim joint? I’m putting one in a custom frame meant for a Harley WL frame (I think it’s a paughco frame) and I believe this might be the best option for this situation.
