Well the author has problems with the wrist of the hand she draws with. So there are 4 chapters per year and there is not much material. Plus that by cutting Hallow where it is she basically killed all chances of new season. She had expressed disappointment by the studio's work, on Pinterest you can see comparisons between the manga and the anime, it's ridiculous. The she discovered an official art the studio made in which Kanda and Allen were portrayed in a very suggestive way.

i'm not a fan of yaoi , i ship allen with road all the way , but i rather see allen with tyki or kanda than see him with lenalee , the internet made me weird ...
The anime itself: atrocious pacing, impossible to follow without having read the manga or knowing someone who spoils the manga(I will be spoiling and explaining while watching with my sis). The plots which the anime hallow covers: 10/10, we fucking love kanda and alma and seeing the noah fight hard but also seeing apocryphos finally enter, finally getting the beginnings of catharsis for the foreshadowing which has been building up from ep 1 about whose side they should be on(imo neither, the order is suspicious innocence is suspicious and the noah are either completely terrible or went a bad way after events 35 years ago). It's hard to hate the anime just because the studio fucked up when the material it covers is so good, and also the original series imo left a LOT to be desired in that the art was just kinda lackluster, you get very little additional detail in a full scene when whereas in the manga you can get away with it because it's just one small panel, in the anime it's a whole screen with like plain sky, plain ground, not much texture etc. The music and voice acting were amazing though.
