Absolutely love this game. Been playing for years and still soo much stuff to do. Honestly some updates like Crystal 5 gear, the new Mysticism, and Martial Arts update is useless/no one asked but nevertheless the game is still great. There's many great communitys to join (Clubs) with great people. I liked the video, hope to see more.
I started a new account on Trove and Im kinda addicted now, i love playing this game (of course, there are a lot of farm and grind to level up, but i think there is this factor in any MMORPG so i love it)
Theres always gonna be some kind of grind factor in MMOs and people are gonna complain about everything, but if you enjoy it, keep on playing, games are made to be enjoyable.
game has a lot of potential, fun grindy game theres a lot of dumb stuff abt this game that im not even gonna get into but if the devs cared abt the game and playerbase this game would be rlly good
Restarted playing like 3-4 days ago from ps4 to pc and its never been more fun. 13k pr full crystal gear I have all the characters but bard and solarian its amazing
This game is atrocious... I quit shortly after reaching top 20 on xbox (about 4200 hours of play time) and I can confidently say.... don't touch this game. I don't wish this game on my worse enemies
@Kimetsu_Raven See this comment is hysterical. The ignorant oversight that I played the game "because it was good" is just wrong. I had a very enjoyable group of folks that I had a blast working with. Gathering information, making spreadsheets, running markets and grinding the atrocious loot for hours on hours on hours with people whom I genuinely enjoyed is the reason I lost so much Time into the game. That and a gripping tight addiction that made me literally feel physically sick if I missed daily/weekly quests. Or god forbid an event. I played this absolutely deranged pile of shit because I got hot fixed to it's charm, which quickly wears off. But by the time I recognized how terrible and P2W the game really was. I became hooked to grinding the loot and quickly found myself in a community I loved. So yes, there "we're" some redeeming qualities to the game, no thanks to the developers however. But now? All that charm is basically gone. It's a shell of what it was and that's not saying much. Feel free to lose hours into the game like I did, it's your life man. But hear me when I say this, Trove is an utter waste of anyone's time, no matter whom you are
I wouldnt even recommend this game it lags like hell and like others said dev dosent listen to their players duplication of items and gold hss been going on for years snd recently they just announced they do something ahout it well too bad its too late most dupers got away with billions of fluxs and market price are basically screwed GG game
The devs dont play their own game and keep adding garbage updates like new gear tiers that require like months of daily grinding worth of materials to max out, shit servers, no new classes (all new ones are not new/midgame friendly), bots in chat... it's just bad...
My two biggest issues with Trove are that, one, many aspects of the game are boringly repetitive. For example, in my opinion, there's not enough enemy variety. Almost all the enemies in the game from the different biomes are just the same enemies with different skins. There's no difference in terms of their attack moves and attack patterns; this makes combat in the game very repetitive. Also, I believe the game allows players to become too powerful; so powerful to the point where once you reach certain stat levels, many of the game's mechanics become completely pointless: Like, what is the point of the dodge mechanic when I can raise my health stat enough to the point where the amount of damage enemies do to me isn't even a threat anymore? Besides stat boosts, what is the point of mounts when I can raise my movement speed to the point of being able to run at the speed of sound or raise my energy stay and spam backflip on neon ninja? What is the point of wings or flying mounts when i can just raise my jump stat to the point where I can be an aircraft with legs and jump everywhere?
been playing this goofy mess of a game since 2017 and i fucking love it

Got 500+ hours on ps and 600+ on pc on this game, it’s definitely dead especially once you reach endgame
Restarted playing like 3-4 days ago from ps4 to pc and its never been more fun. 13k pr full crystal gear I have all the characters but bard and solarian its amazing
One small issue, item duping made PS pretty much unplayable.
Dead? No. Dying? Yes.
was gonna play till i saw less than 1000 current player base from steam charts.... that man is considered dead

The game was so atrocious that you had to put in 4200 hours if it was realy that bad you would have quit earlier

Famous last words for anyone playing Trove
"Hope it's not pay to win"
XD. Oh buddy. You have no idea
😂😂

They always say that they will fix the game when it’s already too late…greedy companies at its finest.

Damn i didnt knew it was that bad…yikes

Very valid points. During the gameplay i did notice a few dungeons that looked about the same and had similar enemies, like you said, no true variety.
