Wow! I never went to that pre deployment class but I’m glad I came across your channel. Currently going through first deployment, everything you’ve said is so spot on. It’s comforting to put a normal label to all that insanity.
My boyfriend is gone for 2 months of training. It's only been 3 days and I'm already struggling. I'm glad that I have your videos and others to relate to!
Kim B keep yourself busy!! once my bf left i was at school and work full time and i swear the 2 months flew by! it'll help keep your mind distracted for a lot of the time but definitely don't take on too much and stress yourself out
Yesssss! Without this knowledge it's so confusing and frustrating because the shame and guilt can be overwhelming. But when you know the stages you're able to be more understanding with yourself because it's like oh ok, this is the anticipation they were talking about or the reintegration struggles they were talking about and it's a breath of relief. I just want to thank you for these videos. They really do help, you're amazing!
This video is everything! Literally said meeeeee about 100x this video! lol the struggle is real and im thankful for a woman like you who make these videos and make me know I'm not alone in feeling the million of emotions before they leave. Love this series! cant wait for the rest!
Brit+Con It def. is! Especially the day before they leave combing his hair and watching him sleep while crying... ME 100%... We just love them so darn much! Lol
Even though my boyfriend isn't on deployment, he is on the complete other side of the country from me and this video is SO relatable!! Literally E v e r y t h i n g is a trigger and I literally do not want to go along with my normal activities without him. Right before he left we got in an argument and it turns out I wasn't even mad at the situation, i was mad and upset at the fact he was leaving and of course I felt guilty because I won't be able to see him in months. Your videos are always so relatable and you do so well with explaining it!
I'm so thankful you're making these videos. I'm currently going through a deployment with my husband. It's a first time for everything. Do Thankyou. 🙏🏾
Thank you for this video! My SO comes home in 5weeks and is here for 3 1/2 weeks. I'm already sad knowing that he will have to leave me again and everything is a trigger for me when he's here and also when he's gone. Not excited for it at all but when you love someone, you make sacrifices!
ugh! I know exactly how that feels. I struggled the first week with staying in the moment while he was home because I knew he would leave again. Although it got easier, I will be praying for yalls time together💕
Wow! I've been watching lots of your videos, grateful for each one. My boyfriend is in the National Guard, going through the last couple of weeks of training. His unit, back home, has discussed deployments. Thank you for giving such great content! :)
i totally felt this way right before my boyfriend left for bootcamp where he's still in the u.s. and safe, i can't imagine what it'll be like when he gets deployed:(
Oh my gosh, yes! We're currently 2 months into my husband's deployment but this is all so true! Especially about wanting them to just leave already! I said that to one of my friends and she thought I was crazy! I can't wait to see the next stages, cuz boy this deployment is hard.. I'm thinking about making youtube videos. It'll be like my outlet and hobby to keep me busy while he's gone :)
My husband will be going on deployment next year..I'm going to have to stay at our first duty station because my kids will be in school. I'll probably go home for the summer though
My husband is also getting ready for his next deployment, I can so relate girl. Even tho this isn't our first deployment you're right on the nose in this video. I love this video.
Nichole Alexandra my boyfriend is in japan for few years probably, good thing is my family lives here so i dont feel like im on the other side of the world, like i can visit him anytime on a weekends or what not but this is so relatable though it still sucks when you dont have a support system and dont have anyone to talk to it's sucks when you can't talk to each other like a regular bf gf thing
I'm a new Navy wife. And my husband is currently in training. How to deal with all the mood swings that comes with stress of training. And being apart.
Thankful for you and this video❤️ looking forward to you explaining the rest of the stages. It feels good to know I'm not alone and I'm not crazy for feeling the way I do😂
When you don't ever hear from your husband do you get worried last week I had a emergency with my daughter he got worried that something had happened to us he has appeacted my daughter as his own had my phone with me but no charger thank you so much for what you have been doing and continue to do

Being a reservists wife, I literally have none of these offered.
Love this video! Just curious, what camera do you have? I really want to start making videos and was curious as to what you use.
Thanks! It's the Samsung NX mini I believe!
