You should make this into a data pack. And implement it as a new random weather.
Then, have it trigger every so often to only spawn one type of potion at the time.
But the potion type is random, and reflected by the color so that the player knows what they are up against.

3:32 that’s actually a weird glitch that I also came across a while ago while messing around with MCreator, basically it occurs whenever the player is healed directly after dying in which the player will have the death screen appear but when the player clicks respawn they will simply continue from where they died! :)
Putting the player into a weird state of limbo of sorts, also if the player is not healed DIRECTLY after death (no more then 1 too 2 ticks maybe 3) the player will be soft locked and be forced to reload the world! :P

Doing that with lingering potions is lag central. Take it from someone who once crashed Minecraft by spamming lingering potions in creative mode
Watching the potions fall reminds me of that scene in Cats don't Dance where the bratty child throws the colorful lights down and makes an even prettier lighting effect.
The glitchy appearance of Fundy at 3:30-3:35 is something I used to play with years ago- it's the result of having 0 hearts left but being healed so fast that you can survive with 0 hearts XD

3:41 you know what this would be good for? A challenging parkour map where you have to complete the course before you die. Or for any of the other versions of it, this would just be cool for a parkour map
Thats one way to get the "How did we get here?" Achievement . Its for getting every single potion effect + every other effect, such as, bad Omen (i cant spell), Minning fatigue, etc. And this looks like a easy way to get that.

other ideas: make the brightness at 0.01 when it's night

The nether sets you on fire if you have armour on,
Ghasts spawn in the deserts,
Raids happen whenever you enter a village, and get witherV effect when you kill a illager of pillaged
Chests only have 5 item slots in them,
Furnaces have 1minute to smelt before it Overheats and sets a 3x3 radius with fire
Armour can only be found in Chests and can't be made
I just had the idea of like a chance to spawn potion that breaks blocks and like 1% + height so if you're deep it's digging. %(1 + (height)) actually.
