When learning guitar it's important to have licks, or moves. This is a great lick to connect the 5 pentatonic patterns up and down the neck compared to getting stuck in the traditional box. It is also important to learn how to take any lick and make it much bigger and broader by thinking of it as a device so you can manipulate it and change it into your own.

I learnt the same patterns just on different frets I guess it's just the key your wanting to be in.
Absolutely, its the same for ALL keys, Major and minor, its just the 5 patterns.
Hi, Sir, I like your video so much. Would you like to try FESLEY's electric guitar?
Thanks as always Suke I always appreciate getting these types of lessons that provide another way of looking at and working the patterns/boxes and this one got me thinking about trying an experiment based on this 2-string concept where I now incorporate the G and D strings above and practice the boxes from the perspective of these 4 strings because by now I totally have down the way the low E & A strings run as far as the box patterns and given the fact that they are mostly bass strings you can almost toss em out especially in band situations and just roll with strings 1-4 no?
Yes and use it all, any pair, maybe for rhythms and riffs on low 2 strings, comp chords on middle strings, solo w any. Keep being creative w it and keep playing
