How to Fix WordPress Not Sending Email Issue | WordPress Tutorial for Beginners

Is your WordPress not sending email? If you’re having this issue, then using SMTP, or Simple Mail Transfer Protocol might solve your problem. Sometimes the emails sent from a WordPress site goes straight into the spam folder. Again, if the server isn’t configured properly the emails might not be sent at all. There could be a few more reasons why your WordPress is not sending emails. But in most cases, using an SMTP service will solve this issue.
In this video, we’re going to learn how to fix the WordPress not sending email issue. We’re going to use two popular SMTP services to enable WordPress email sending. You can choose any one of the two methods. First we are going to use Google’s Gmail SMTP. For this, we need a plugin that will help us connect our WordPress site to Gmail SMTP. In this tutorial, we used Post SMTP, but you can use the plugin you prefer. Gmail SMTP allows a good number of emails per day in their free plan. If you require more emails, you have to upgrade to a paid plan.
For the second method, we used Brevo which was formerly known as Sendinblue. Brevo has a dedicated plugin for WordPress. We simply need to install the plugin, create a free Brevo account, and connect Brevo with our WordPress site using an API key. With the Brevo free account, you can send 300 emails per day. If you have a higher demand, you can upgrade to a paid plan.
