I think they stopped taking personal checks sometime between 2015 and now. I seem to recall them getting rid of the option within the past few years, aroudnd 2017 if I had to guess.

first you returned the check to a customer then you put it back in the drawer?? Which is correct?

You first stated that the check is handed back to the customer after you are finished with it, then a few seconds later you stated that the check goes in the bottom of the drawer...which is it?

If register asks for customer ID, keep the check. If it dont ask for ID, give check back

Is this still true for walmart in 2022? I was a cashier in 2016 and a lot has changed since then, so I'm nervous about everything.
