Once again thank for showing me that it is possible to do something you have never done and not screw up (to much). I like your if I can do it so can you attitude. Cheers.

I love this series. I took redundancy after quire in one company, I left my place in London and built a mini house in my folks garden so I could have so many more options for the future. I built if from scratch and it was a year in total as I was working a remote job at the time. It now costs just a fraction and I am able to do what the hell I want. I learned from you tube and the internet how to fit tiles and a shower and a kitchen. Got a mate to do the electrical supply and I have now been in here for a year and it’s amazing! I’m paid for it month by month and bought stuff second hand. I wish I could show you images of the final result because it’s turned out beautifully

I am sure others are with me, I love your channel and these videos; I am really hoping you succeed with your build and move in deadline… But this sunken bath is stressing me out 😅 can’t help but think a normal shower tray or an above ground deep bath tub would be so much better anyway! Good luck bud, excited to see the result nonetheless!

Might be a bit late now but Drop the bathtub idea, pun intended
Unnecessary cost and work and you’re likely to not use it enough to warrant the daily schlep of a compromised comfortable shower.

Have you considered using something like mermaid board instead of tiles? it's a lot lighter and acts like wood, so you can just cut it and stick it in place. We have it in our bathroom and 8 years since we put it in, it's brilliant!

Nice to see the consistency, keep it up! What's the percentage chance you actually move in, in 13 days?

Agree it’s opportunistic but don’t think he ever said it’s going to be finished, just moved in.
I’ve found often 80% of the work goes into bits where others can’t really tell something has happened, the last 20% (in this case for example putting up the plaster board) will suddenly make it look a lot further on even though it doesn’t take that much time.

He has not said it will be finished. He says the building is dried in, so basically if he puts some floors in, he could live there as he completes it.

That big panel blanked out with white plastic sheet from the top of the plywood shipment, that will be an opening window in the bathroom

IQ is largely inherited. So some people are just going to struggle with some things more than others. It's not simply about time invested.

Listen, Mate. I have been enjoying watching your videos, but your ramblings get a bit too much, so I have to mute the video. That story about a study done on a billion people of whom 80% hate their jobs-no such study was ever done. It might be true that 80% hate their jobs, but no university and no government has the money to properly study one billion people.

mate would focus on the build and not on the videos. Your doing an hours worth of work in each video??? How is this going to be done in time? Then your going to be living in a building site.
