I was a catholic until two weeks ago when I finally baptized as a Mormon. Being baptized was such a wonderful experience and I will never forget what i felt or when i received the Holy Ghost. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet. I am only 17 years old and for years I searched for what religion is true and it finally ended. I am so happy to be a member of the church and while my family is coming to terms with my new religion, they have never seen me so happy as I am now.
Life has never been easy for me after my parents became divorced i lost a lot of faith and trust in the lord and our eternal destination, but after much bad choices and the void of the gospel in my life and constant prayers and love from my ward i was able to read the book of mormon and recieved a testimony and answer to my prayers, in which i returned now i'm stronger than ever standing here a witness of the gospel and a soon to be Elder of the church of Jesus Christ in Comayaguela, Honduras.
I love the Lord Jesus and Joseph Smith and the following Present day Prophets. I was baptized Lutheran Wisconsin Synod as an infant. Attended Lutheran while with my parents. As I grew older I attended many different denominations of Churches. I married my husband William Thomas Townsend and were persuaded by a fellow realtor Lori Scow to get Baptized Mormon. August 13 1995 both my husband and I were baptized in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints. We became inactive in The Church. In 2002 I became baptized Baptist. Throughout the following years I attended Baptist Jewish Synagogue once Catholic Presbyterian Jehovah witness Assembly of God Methodist and was almost baptized into a 4th church Sun Valley Community non-denominal Church. I went back to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints Church several times throughout and again to Calvery Free Lutheran Church and on September 24 of 2023 I went back to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints at the Oasis Verde ward where I was sooo welcomed. I now attend the 25th ward in Mesa. I believe and have a strong testimony and pray I never leave the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints again. I am so happy to belong and encourage often friends and strangers I meet or talk to to check out the church. ❤
A few weeks ago I lost a girl from my church to suicide and it broke me. I started drifting away from the gosphel and a few nights ago I prayed for some sort of way I can feel the spirit anywhere I go and I found this channel and I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father

Do you know that the Bible mentions that the Book of Mormon will come about in the last days. It happened. Also members of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" is the same as it was set up 2000 years ago. Priest, deacons, 12 Apostles. But in the end its the Holy Spirit that changes hearts. I know of all the churches my mother ever took me to, the holy spirit It is very strong in the lds church. You can find the truth if you really want to. One can not go by what people say, one must seek the truth while studying and praying, seek the missionaries with a humble heart. One has to be open, humble, meek and ask God. Joseph Smith was talking to a lady about the church in the late 1820's, she got really hung up on the church. The lady said something like, I want a church that loves. I don't remember the details, but Mr. Smith said, that is our faith, loving one another. The devil has done a dark work in keeping people from learning about the things of God, Christ church. The answers are not in this world, the answer is in having enough faith to humble yourself and seek it and let the holy spirit guide you. The spirit is strong in my life. We all have free will to choose. But I would like to say in the book of 2nd Timothy: Verse 7 says.... Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. The church we have learned a great deal of things unknown to the world. If it wasn't for Joseph I would not grasp the book of revelation. Because of the church and the holy spirit I can tell you what will happen, before it happens. War with Iran and the USA will be divided into 4 countries about 2024-25. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I am thankful for my blessings and it is my prayer that we will share those blessings together in heaven. There is a reason why LDS members say we are the church, it was restored and we have the holy spirit, we are the saints, that is mentioned in the book of revelation. Even up to this day I don't understand why many people hate us, and are willing to put up a fight when we aren't willing. I completely understand why the Lord ask us to love our enemies which is one of the hardest things to accomplish, but maybe one day all that hatred will leave. No this is a lie. You guys are falling for the one world religion that is spoken about in revelation. There is only one true Jesus Christ and He is Gods Son the second person of the trinity he is the Godman. Paul warns us about another Jesus in 2 Cor Ch 11. One of my most cherished memories from growing up in Utah is the constant presence of church teachings in our lives. Whether it was going downtown Salt Lake to watch the Joseph Smith movies with Sister Kimball or actively participating in the activities for young women and young men, those experiences always made a profound impact on me. Whenever I watched those movies, I could feel the spirit touching my heart and soul, reaffirming the truthfulness of the gospel. @@SalineAfeaki When I was a new convert a Sister Missionary from one of the islands serving where I was [in Florida] said after a hurricane flooded her island as she was walking thru the water she found a book which was floating on top of the water, when she picked it up it was not wet, it was the Book of Mormon, so she read it and that's how she obtained a miraculous testimony from that miraculous book~!!

My mother died to stage 4 colon cancer about 1 year and a half ago. Coincidently about a month ago I also went to Nauvoo. If your mother is still on Earth, let her feel your love every day, and look to the Lord in faith.

It is from the hands of Brigham Young, and those missionaries who went forth from that time to the nation of Denmark that called my 4th Great Grandfather to come to Zion, and he built a family, and from that family I decended. I am grateful that they heard these words themselves, gained a testimony of that Gospel, and so blessed my own life.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will never fall. There will be many Saints that's fall keeping the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his Doctrine alive. Many of the Saints inside and outside of the church will be gathered in the last day when the Lord gathers his people before the Dreadful day of the burning of the non-believers and the wicked that choose not to repent. But things Joseph Smith done and the Apostle Paul done setting up the church was a hard chore but they were determined to follow the Lord's Council how the church Jesus Christ was to be set up with the Everlasting gospel. I’m a Muslim and wondered about him and went to the church except they wanted to babtize me everything was good they were so polite and good people. I love people who serve God who do something for God and help people. I thank from here to the Newyork Queens Monron church.
I sometimes feel guilty of my sins and for not turning to Him when my two older brothers died in 2021 due to asthma and heart failure. I have asthma as well but have ah ealthy heart. I somehow forgot the things I learned from primary to serving a mission. I stopped going to church and making excuses to not attending church activies. My parents are not so active in the church. For long years I did not see the love and blessings after the tragic happened because of anger and doubts. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ arent giving up sending good friends and especially the Holy Ghost. My testimony and through the help of the Holy Ghost I made my steps to turning to Him again. Last November, Our bishop granted me to renew my temple recommend and visit the temple. I couldn't contained my joy and peace I felt inside the temple to proxy my late older brother to receive his endowment and sealed my late grandparents through the help of my aunt and uncle. I testify everything in the Church is true. I testify temple are the house of holiness.
Don't be deceived by this church. Joesph smith preached a false gospel and Christ like the bible warned us about in 2 Corinthian's 11 and Galatians 1:1.
In Galatians 1:1 it says that Paul is an apostle of Jesus Christ… is your church led by apostles and prophets, with Christ himself as the chief cornerstone? No? Than this doesn’t sound like the gospel that Jesus preached. Don’t resist the Holy Spirit which witnesses to me and millions of others that this gospel is true! God and Jesus Christ cannot deceive, neither can they. So Galatians 1:8 doesn’t work either. Our gospel is Jesus’ ministry, atonement, cruxifixion, resurrection, and ascension, and we preach faith on Lord Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost as described clearly in Acts 19. How is this false?
Even though I am separated from the Church so many years 'til now, I still believed that the story of Joseph Smith was true, I still believed that he was chosen by God as the prophet to restored His True Church. His faith in God , caused him mucn grief, however, this did not stop him from spreading the word of Jesus Christ. They killed because he was a child of God, but Joseph Smith received salvation from God. We should fight a good fight as Joseph Smith did. Glory to God.

I just watched this video on the app, and I felt the power of the Holy Ghost. I prayed unto heavenly father, to know if this is true and it is! I am a returning member. When Joseph Smith was told that god does not give revelations anymore, it inspired me to think about the verse where it says in the past, present, and future. God is the same. Well, god did reveal things in the past, so to be the same, he must reveal things today and in the future! I add my name to testify that Joseph Smith was called by God to restore His church and that the Book of Mormon is true. Amen.

When the opportunity came upon me to go to Navoo in my youth and again when my young adult hood i took it both times . Went to the temple got to see what the inside looked liked , even went to the jail where Joseph, and the brothers where asked to go . The spirit felt in both places felled my heart with grif and joy . The movie is about his life. Basically, he began as a young man looking for truth, received it bit by bit from God, and did many great things under God's direction which profoundly improve our lives today. I was a catholic until two weeks ago when I finally baptized as a Mormon. Being baptized was such a wonderful experience and I will never forget what i felt or when i received the Holy Ghost. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet. I am only 17 years old and for years I searched for what religion is true and it finally ended. I am so happy to be a member of the church and while my family is coming to terms with my new religion, they have never seen me so happy as I am now.

Life has never been easy for me after my parents became divorced i lost a lot of faith and trust in the lord and our eternal destination, but after much bad choices and the void of the gospel in my life and constant prayers and love from my ward i was able to read the book of mormon and recieved a testimony and answer to my prayers, in which i returned now i'm stronger than ever standing here a witness of the gospel and a soon to be Elder of the church of Jesus Christ in Comayaguela, Honduras.
I love the Lord Jesus and Joseph Smith and the following Present day Prophets. I was baptized Lutheran Wisconsin Synod as an infant. Attended Lutheran while with my parents. As I grew older I attended many different denominations of Churches. I married my husband William Thomas Townsend and were persuaded by a fellow realtor Lori Scow to get Baptized Mormon. August 13 1995 both my husband and I were baptized in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints. We became inactive in The Church. In 2002 I became baptized Baptist. Throughout the following years I attended Baptist Jewish Synagogue once Catholic Presbyterian Jehovah witness Assembly of God Methodist and was almost baptized into a 4th church Sun Valley Community non-denominal Church. I went back to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints Church several times throughout and again to Calvery Free Lutheran Church and on September 24 of 2023 I went back to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints at the Oasis Verde ward where I was sooo welcomed. I now attend the 25th ward in Mesa. I believe and have a strong testimony and pray I never leave the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints again. I am so happy to belong and encourage often friends and strangers I meet or talk to to check out the church. ❤

I believe this film shares as best as man can share, the love of a Heavenly Father to a son who pressed forward in faith through a life of intense trials and blessings, temptations and triumphs, tears of sadness and tears of joy.
Im not mormon but this is such a well told story of a people who show great strength against unjust oppression.
The only way for you to know for yourself that this story is true, is to ask God in prayer to reveal an answer of whether if it's true or not, to you. I have received my own personal answer from God, and I know that this story is true. And the more I learn from the Bible and the Book of Mormon, more truths are revealed to my heart and mind. I'm so grateful for the Bible and Book of Mormon and prayer because they have helped me be more aware of God and Jesus love and continuous guidance in my and my family's lives.

Well, I got baptized! I'm active in the Church now and participating in activities! I can't wait to watch this movie again (right now). This is the true church of Jesus Christ! I’m not Mormon but I’m learning. I attended a study session with two missionaries and they were telling me about Joseph Smith (they also gave me the Book of Mormon). So im glad I stumbled upon this movie, it helped me understand Joseph Smith much better
Never stop learning about God and our Saviour. The more you learn, the more your heart will be filled with their love and your life will be guided and the more mind blown you will be. I've been a member my whole life but as I continue to pray and read the scriptures I never stop learning about the love of God.

If I could give any advice at all (not that you asked) notice how each person in this story found their faith not because Joseph was such an inspiring person but because they prayed and asked God. Yes. I learned a lot from this movie. Joseph Smith was possessed by a demon and revealed a false reality about how God revealed Himself to Joseph. That explains why the LDS church is so contradictory to everything taught in the Bible: because Joseph Smith didn't see God, he saw Satan the deceiver.
Ask the missionaries to show you the doctrine and covenants, pearl of great price, and journal of discourses. That’s what they REALLY believe. They use the bOm as lure to get you hooked. Look I tot he curious real history and beliefs!
Although I am not a member of this church, this movie led me to listen to some sermons of the Church of Christ of the Latter Days. I am impressed. Yet to me the Bible still the Only true revelation of God’s heart.

We can wrest the scripture to justify our own view/belief, but we need the Holy Ghost to justify to us the truth of things and to teach us to understand the bible as well. If you a familiar with the story of Stephen in Acts 6 and 7, he had the Spirit that taught and justify the truth to him. His accusers were wrestling with the scripture to justify their own views and up to killing him.

Do you know that the Bible mentions that the Book of Mormon will come about in the last days. It happened. Also members of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" is the same as it was set up 2000 years ago. Priest, deacons, 12 Apostles. But in the end its the Holy Spirit that changes hearts. I know of all the churches my mother ever took me to, the holy spirit It is very strong in the lds church. You can find the truth if you really want to.
One can not go by what people say, one must seek the truth while studying and praying, seek the missionaries with a humble heart. One has to be open, humble, meek and ask God. Joseph Smith was talking to a lady about the church in the late 1820's, she got really hung up on the church. The lady said something like, I want a church that loves. I don't remember the details, but Mr. Smith said, that is our faith, loving one another. The devil has done a dark work in keeping people from learning about the things of God, Christ church. The answers are not in this world, the answer is in having enough faith to humble yourself and seek it and let the holy spirit guide you. The spirit is strong in my life. We all have free will to choose. But I would like to say in the book of 2nd Timothy: Verse 7 says.... Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The church we have learned a great deal of things unknown to the world. If it wasn't for Joseph I would not grasp the book of revelation. Because of the church and the holy spirit I can tell you what will happen, before it happens. War with Iran and the USA will be divided into 4 countries about 2024-25. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I am thankful for my blessings and it is my prayer that we will share those blessings together in heaven. There is a reason why LDS members say we are the church, it was restored and we have the holy spirit, we are the saints, that is mentioned in the book of revelation. Even up to this day I don't understand why many people hate us, and are willing to put up a fight when we aren't willing. I completely understand why the Lord ask us to love our enemies which is one of the hardest things to accomplish, but maybe one day all that hatred will leave.

No this is a lie. You guys are falling for the one world religion that is spoken about in revelation. There is only one true Jesus Christ and He is Gods Son the second person of the trinity he is the Godman. Paul warns us about another Jesus in 2 Cor Ch 11. Also warns us about another gospel in Gal 1. What does John say in 1 John 4:3 If anyone denies the deity of our lord Jesus Christ, he is not of God he is an antichrist. The bible warns us over and over again not be deceived. This movie has nothing to do with the true Jesus Christ nor is it leading anyone to salvation nor is it biblical at all. One of my most cherished memories from growing up in Utah is the constant presence of church teachings in our lives. Whether it was going downtown Salt Lake to watch the Joseph Smith movies with Sister Kimball or actively participating in the activities for young women and young men, those experiences always made a profound impact on me. Whenever I watched those movies, I could feel the spirit touching my heart and soul, reaffirming the truthfulness of the gospel. It reminded me that as long as we maintain that unwavering desire and faith, just like Joseph Smith did as a young boy, we can overcome any challenge.

It is from the hands of Brigham Young, and those missionaries who went forth from that time to the nation of Denmark that called my 4th Great Grandfather to come to Zion, and he built a family, and from that family I decended. I am grateful that they heard these words themselves, gained a testimony of that Gospel, and so blessed my own life.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will never fall. There will be many Saints that's fall keeping the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his Doctrine alive. Many of the Saints inside and outside of the church will be gathered in the last day when the Lord gathers his people before the Dreadful day of the burning of the non-believers and the wicked that choose not to repent. But things Joseph Smith done and the Apostle Paul done setting up the church was a hard chore but they were determined to follow the Lord's Council how the church Jesus Christ was to be set up with the Everlasting gospel. The only one that should be worried is the non-believers and those who mock only because of their ignorance. Continue to educate yourself in the scriptures daily. I sometimes feel guilty of my sins and for not turning to Him when my two older brothers died in 2021 due to asthma and heart failure. I have asthma as well but have ah ealthy heart. I somehow forgot the things I learned from primary to serving a mission. I stopped going to church and making excuses to not attending church activies. My parents are not so active in the church. For long years I did not see the love and blessings after the tragic happened because of anger and doubts. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ arent giving up sending good friends and especially the Holy Ghost. My testimony and through the help of the Holy Ghost I made my steps to turning to Him again. Last November, Our bishop granted me to renew my temple recommend and visit the temple. I couldn't contained my joy and peace I felt inside the temple to proxy my late older brother to receive his endowment and sealed my late grandparents through the help of my aunt and uncle. I testify everything in the Church is true. I testify temple are the house of holiness.

Don't be deceived by this church. Joesph smith preached a false gospel and Christ like the bible warned us about in 2 Corinthian's 11 and Galatians 1:1.

In Galatians 1:1 it says that Paul is an apostle of Jesus Christ… is your church led by apostles and prophets, with Christ himself as the chief cornerstone? No? God and Jesus Christ cannot deceive, neither can they. So Galatians 1:8 doesn’t work either. Our gospel is Jesus’ ministry, atonement, cruxifixion, resurrection, and ascension, and we preach faith on Lord Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost as described clearly in Acts 19. How is this false?

His faith in God , caused him mucn grief, however, this did not stop him from spreading the word of Jesus Christ. They killed because he was a child of God, but Joseph Smith received salvation from God. We should fight a good fight as Joseph Smith did. Glory to God.

I am a returning member. When Joseph Smith was told that god does not give revelations anymore, it inspired me to think about the verse where it says in the past, present, and future. God is the same. Well, god did reveal things in the past, so to be the same, he must reveal things today and in the future!

When the opportunity came upon me to go to Navoo in my youth and again when my young adult hood i took it both times . Went to the temple got to see what the inside looked liked , even went to the jail where Joseph, and the brothers where asked to go .
The spirit felt in both places felled my heart with grif and joy .

Yes, you're rigth, but in this case, Jesucrist and his father preach they same gospel to Joseph Smith, the restauration of his church and his gospel, too.
Indeed, Joseph was merely a Messenger, not a Prophet, he preached the Trinity and did not take up more than one wife, If he had taught polytheism, his Lord would have known otherwise.
If you are familiar with the Story of Stephen Acts 6&7, his accusers were doing the same.

That's also why I converted... My testimony is rooted in one night, where the missionaries skipped other appointments and spent 3 hours answering every question that I had ever had about religion, all with scripture from the BoM and the Bible. They taught me about a loving and merciful Heavenly Father that I KNEW, but other churches had pretended doesn't exist. I felt the Spirit SO strongly that night, stronger than I ever felt it before, and I knew then that the gospel is true. :)
I just read your Testimony. I saw you wrote this 12 yrs ago. I hope you can still see this and are holding on to the rod firmly and you are well. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us so much. They want our peace and happiness and joy in this life and in eternity with our family's and them, I so humbly say. Thank's for the day we will talk to our loved one's we have lost and feel the arm's of the Savior Jesus Christ again.

I am so greatfull for the courage Joseph Smith had. It would have been much easier to just live a quiet life with his family. He choose to stand up for truth! My life is so blessed as a result of the amazing Book Of Mormon, and the restoration of the full gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a decendant of the Lamanites who are in the book, and I have no doubt that our Savior came to visit them and many others after his resurection! How different would our world be if we all choose to seek out truth and light as diligently as he did!
I'm a proud descendant of book of mormon people too brother or cousin. Not talking about Lamanites either. But all Book of Mormon stock is all equally precious to me. All ancient American people related directedly to family of Jared or Lehi, or not, are all still the same blood to me. Whether Nephite, Inca, Maya, Jaredite, Olmec, Zapotec, Toltec, Lamanite, Blackhawk, Ute, Iroquois, Cherokee, Apache, etc. All one and the same to me anyways. Same here, I prayed, began to read it and felt the Holy Spirit so strongly. The book convicted me as it still does of my wrongdoings, and helps me to become a better person. l recently became a mormon and through that;l have recieve countless blessings, l can't image how much blessings that might come my way after l have recieve the fullnest of the gosple.
I recently went to Nauvoo to participate in the Nauvoo and British pageants. These things show the Lord's glory and his light. They show that the Lord does not forget anyone, and they show that even a simple farm boy can become a great prophet. They show truth.
Even King David when he was younger receive the calling to lead his people.
I saw and loved The Cumorah Pageant when it was going. What joy it brought to my heart! It made me want to fly upwards into the sky.
I love this video and the testimony that Joseph Smith bore of Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon to be a second witness of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "By their fruits ye shall know them." The Book of Mormon is one of the many fruits of he gospel of Jesus Christ and it was translated by the power and authority of God.

Many of the Muslims are Arabs, or Ishmael's children. They are directly from Father Abraham. They have an important part to play in the ongoing Restoration.

I am a 50 years old man and next year it will be 170 since the martyrdom of Joseph Smith Jr. I see this movie and its reenactment of the of the martyrdom an it brings me to tears every time. Love you Joseph forever.
Every time I watch this I’m so grateful for the life of our Prophet Joseph Smith & all the early Saints for their faith in Christ even unto death. My heart is moved so greatly at the humility, afflictions, pains and sorrows they faced, yet they remained faithful. May we seek to follow their example of devotion and loyalty to our Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I’m inspired every time I watch this and never get sick of watching it. We must always remember those that came before us and the sacrifices they have made so that we can be here today and live well. Ireneaus, papias, origen, eternal hell was not mainstream until the fifth century. We do not teach another gospel, we teach the eternal gospel, the gospel of Peter and of Paul. It is one and the same.

He used a stone. A hat in a face doesn't look very good on screen. That being said, he was a prophet and was very adept at receiving revelation, so it's not impossible he could understand what the figures meant that way.

The movie is about his life. Basically, he began as a young man looking for truth, received it bit by bit from God, and did many great things under God's direction which profoundly improve our lives today. The Latter-day Saints are very grateful for what he did and gave and we praise his example in living Christ's Gospel and sharing it with all the world.

Jesus promised us "the gates of hell would not prevail against His church" Matthew 16:18. You may want to look through history and discover where that Church has remained. It did not fall only to be resurrected by a man over 1700 years later. It still exists, and the true Christians did not die out.
I have spoken to Elders in my town, and they were kind and friendly people, whom God loves deeply. I will be praying for you and all the youth in the LDS church. Jesus loves you and will answer the door and lead you through His sheepfold if you merely ask.

You know prophet, even during the time after the resurrection of Christ Paul went through teaching many things and setting up the way the Lord wanted his church setup just like Joseph Smith was chosen to set up the Lord's Church now upon the Earth. Just like and Paul day they had effeminate just like today in our world in chapter 6 1st Corinthians Paul taught the things Joseph Smith is teaching the same thing now and every time you will always have these effeminate doing the same thing to draw attention away from Joseph Smith the prophet.
