You're going to love our spring migration when 3 quarters of the North American bird species come to us here in Ontario and Québec! Every day it's something new in the woods and wetlands😂
Stunning inspiring filming! I still new to this... I jumped from a Canon PowerShot to the Sony a7r5 with a 200-600mm, still learning how to use it properly 😅, but your videos inspire me as to what pro gear and knowledge can do!

I know your a professional photographer Richard, but doesn't it feel strange photographing in a new area that you now call home or is it just like travelling up to Scotland to photograph for example. All the best to the family and yourself in your new adventures.
Absolutely, it’s really hard starting again in a new country. I’m so lucky at home with access, knowledge of subjects the rules of the land etc. But starting fresh in a big country has taken quite a bit of effort but I love a challenge and the people here have been so helpful and friendly. Canadian birders, photographers and naturalists have all helped massively. Thanks again for asking👍💪🏻

How do you find the 200-400 1.4x? I was split between getting one second hand vs the RF 100-500mm for my R7, does it work well on RF bodies?
Thanks very much for watching and I'm really glad you liked the video. The R7 is my go-to lens and the optics are amazing and at f7.1 it produces so really good DOF and the bokeh is pretty darn good for f7.1. But the 2-4 is an awesome lens and is great to have that zoom range and with the 1.4 ext engaged is a real bonus and at f5.6 it's much better when the light fades. Thanks Rich 👍
