Thank you so much for this person to actually include speed Swimming. It counts as swimming. Even though I love Magical Powers channel thats does a good job but they often overlook/ don’t include certain Swimming scenes.
From what i tried to research theres almost no info on the tails from what other tv shows do with tails like in h20 they either sell directly, put them on auction, or put them into storage
Why should you be too old to watch a show if you enjoy it? Kids are strange with these kind of questions. I would think 13 falls in to the target audience for such a show? The characters themselves are mostly 15-17 years old too.
i think they used thinner easier tails in mako mermaids bc there is more fast skimming in these u can really see how hard it is to swim and the times when they do need to swim fast they speed the video up like in last episode when the moon pool entrance is covered with rocks

You're never too old to watch something you love, no matter what the age of the "target audience" is.
I am 26 and rewatch once a year 😂 A lot of my friends still love this show as well. Do not worry about being too old.
