My sister fry to Osaka Kansai Airport first and stay there for 2 nights (one day go to Universal,another day free plan still) then get on the train to Kyoto for 1 night before going to Fuji high Q 1night and head toTokyo for 5 night(mainly for Disney World and Sea and go to Arkihabara for Halloween night). Honestly,I still can't find a nice place to go eat on the first 2 nights in Osaka. But for Kyoto we planned our cafe and restaurants trip to follow you. Thank you for your video trip. In Kyo to gonna go to Kenninji Temple ,Tsukiji Traditional Cafe, issen Yoshoku and Kyoto meat x fruit and vegetables sour. Those foods you show on videos looking arty and delicious that must have to try. The temple is not to be missed too! Thank you very much again. ❤. Also can't wait to see Osaka trip video!
I live in California and the food in Japan is so much more affordable!! I use to live in japan and I miss how convenient it is to eat out, it is a hassle here. Thanks for sharing, everything looks delicious and I will go to some of these places when I visit Japan soon.

It is interesting that in Japan, there is a certain type of Chinese food dishes that are distinct to what people in Japan. One of them is the mapo tofu and the noodle dish that you are eating. These dishes are rarely seen or commonly eaten elsewhere for example in the US. It shows the adaptation of Chinese food to each country it migrates to.
Thank you for looking. I think that's right. Also, especially in Japan, I think there are many restaurants that offer their own unique arrangements of dishes that originated overseas.
Mapo tofu originated in Chengdu China in the 1800s. You don’t see many restaurants in the US reflecting that regional cuisine. However Japanese restaurants that aren’t just sushi places serve Japanese versions of mapo tofu. You can also get mixes even at Wegmans on the East past to make it yourself.

Mapo tofu it’s most certainly eaten in the U.S. maybe not where you are but certainly here.
@kokomire It is not widely available at Chinese restaurants in the DC metro area from what I've seen.
