One of Okotie-Eboh son's mansion sits right beside my late dad's house in Sapele. All the schools and businesses mentioned in this clip gives me good memories of my childhood as I often visit these places while growing up.

The reason why Nigeria has not developed and may never be is because we started wrongly. Strict discipline was never required from those who served us. Even the Singapore man said it looking at the way the man appeared to him expensive. It is still like that till today with President living lavishly and legislators collecting N26million per month and telling lies they are collecting N1million hiding a whopping N25million monthly Allowance. You said where are the loot, where were you when the family took themselves to court on sharing of choicest properties in Lagos? If somebody paid you to white wash history, say you no grow reach.

He was the one Azikiwe would run to - to bail NCNC out when they were in financial difficulty. Okotie-Eboh bank rolled the party from his personal finances. Unfortunately, salacious rumours are preferred to facts. People have forgotten that both Azikiwe and Awolowo have proven cases of corruption against them. Instead, they choose to focus on beer parlour rumours about Okotie-Eboh.
Okotie-Eboh was a hero and a lion, he was told about the coup 2 days before it happened by the British. He refused to run away, he said 'if I die, I die for Nigeria'.

Separate to this, also research the following: 1943 Ahmadu Bello corruption case, Awolowo 1962 corruption case, Azikiwe corruption case. While you are at it, also research Operation Feed the Nation or Petroleum Trust Fund PTF. If you find any evidence of Okotie-Eboh corruption, please come back and tell us.

And trust me I understand your own views… but The January 1966 Boys were revolutionist… Their plans was to overtake the Government and then release Awolowo from prison, then make him the President… See, Tafa, Bello and Co were really bad eggs… I’m not justifying their deaths. They could’ve handled it a better way, maybe put them in prison than killing them… But these men started all our problems till date… It’s so sad… Hmmmmm
