I am a resident in a European country, and they require that you do a medical check up before you arrive, as well as at your local municipal health clinic within the first 90 days of you being in your new country in Europe, you do some medical tests as well (it involves TB and STD checks). They are free though, if you're under 25.

Hi Lisa :) I've gone about this so many ways because I never think about it so much. Sometimes, I would usually take one or two pills, put them in a plastic and have them in my carry on luggage. The rest would be in my suitcase. Other times, I've had the whole pill case with me in my carry on luggage. In all the instances, I've never been stopped. And as I said, I've been around several countries, I was never stopped once to ask about my pills :)

For my working VISA.... but when it comes to tourist travel VISAs, traveled to the US and many EU countries no medical questions required even in the many many Asian countries I’ve traveled. So people can take trips for leisure for sure.
