i guess im randomly asking but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
@Lyric Dakota Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Summertime And the livin' is easy Fish are jumpin' And the cotton is high Oh, your daddy's rich And your ma' is good lookin' So hush Little baby Don't you cry One of these mornings You're gonna rise up singing Yes, you'll spread your wings And you'll take to the sky But 'til that mornin' There's nothin' can harm you Yes with Daddy and Mammy Standing by Summertime And the livin' is easy Fish are jumpin' And the cotton is high Oh your daddy's rich And your ma' is good lookin' So hush Little baby Baby, don't you cry Oh don't you cry (don't you cry)
Pete, your backing tracts are the best! I play bass, and have found them very helpful in my practice routine. Thanks very much for your excellent contribution to jazz!
Thanks a lot for these tracks, Pete! Haven't played jazz in ages, but now we're planning a little christmas party jazz jam at the office this wednesday. These tracks were just perfect for practice! Love the tempo variations, as you never know what the tempo will be during a jam, so best to prepare for anything. :)
Hi Pete, thank you for this excellent backing track !! I play bass and this line is great to learn. You would have it without the bass ;) ? ;) Another big thank you from France
Hi +pleaseu2nite, thanks for watching! It's not software showing the chord changes. Every bar is painstaking hand-typed by myself, so these videos take me hours and hours to make. I do use software for the audio, it's called Band In A Box, and I highly recommend it. If you pay for the full product (expensive I know), the sound quality and the playing are excellent.
+Pete Farrugia Guitar Teacher Band in a box! You know, I checked this software out like years ago....like 10 years ago...now that I am taking my music more seriously...I better get on it again. Thanks!
I like this, but I was taught that the bass should make big steps on 2 and 4. Here, he is mostly jumping on 1, and always to get to the tonic. It makes it not smooth, not walking.
Thanks +stevekap8. Yes, If I had played bass on this it would probably be more like you say, but I use Band In A Box to make these backing tracks. They're not intended for performance (even though many people use them at gigs)!
Medax you mean like an F major first inversion (F/A)? Not in this arrangement, as there's an E as well as an F. The notes are A E A C F, or x02211. So the Am triad remains constant below the E, F, F# and G notes on the first string. I like the nasty clash between the E and the F a b9 higher!
Pete Farrugia Guitar Teacher Oh, so its not a triad? but an Am(add b6)? Or more easily written Am+. Awesome! I'll be sure to use this chord some time, it sound amazing! :)
These aren't quite the right chords. Am6 to Bm6 back and forth until (instead of his Bm7flat5) Dminor then E7flat9 then repeat. (at least the beginning part) Other than that minor insignificant comment it's great to jam over. Thanks.
aristotle358 I respectfully disagree. I'm happy that you enjoy jamming over my backing track, but in my opinion you've misunderstood one of the cornerstones of jazz, which is reharmonization. There are almost as many interpretations of Summertime as there are autumn leaves ;). This is just one of them. There are many references about this, both informal as well as academic. For example... www.berkleepress.com/catalog/product?product_id=58600
Pete Farrugia Guitar Teacher I get you. I know what you mean. I play a version which is based on the Porgy and Bess. I do a chord/melody effort. I've also pinned down a chord/melody version of "I've got you under my skin. Lovely chords. Thanks for sharing your stuff; as I said it was great to improvise over.
What a smooth music to improvise on it ! Thanks Mr.Pete. I never knew I was able to play that good.
Thanks +Olivier B.
Easy for you to say.
Génial, comme toutes vos pistes, merci
Wonderful! It is perfect for chromatic harmonica improvisation. Thank you for sharing!

+Pete Farrugia Guitar Teacher Thank you for your pain staking efforts. Very helpful for trying to play over all chord changes.
Thanks +Michael Brown.
I use it wiht guitar and put it on the net with a part of your backing and of course your credit、ok?
Sure, go ahead.
thank you!!

+Pete Farrugia Guitar Teacher Well it's really quite good and very useful, to practice with, to solo over. Thanks for putting it out!
great track! what's the DmM7 exactly? is that a mix between Dm and Dmajor7?
Thanks! Yes, the notes are D, F, A and C#.
cheers keep up the good work i'm subscribing
Thanks Daniel.
Hold on Am+? is that a thing? is it a minor chord with an augmented 5th?
That's right Medax, a very cool chord, which makes a nice progression to Am6 and onto Am7. See also the James Bond Theme.
Pete Farrugia Guitar Teacher thats pretty cool, but isn't it just a voiced version of some other triad?
Medax you mean like an F major first inversion (F/A)? Not in this arrangement, as there's an E as well as an F. The notes are A E A C F, or x02211. So the Am triad remains constant below the E, F, F# and G notes on the first string. I like the nasty clash between the E and the F a b9 higher!

+Pete Farrugia Guitar Teacher I guess it could also be treated like a Fmaj7. Like Am+ to E7 to Am
What's the minor key of this backing track? Am?
yes it's in a minor
Can I use it to sing in ? :)
Of course Léanne L.
play 85 bpm
