  • Three weeks ago, Bill didn’t know what dust collectors were. Now he’s done the math, built a full scale paper mockup, and is ready to form some sheet metal. Using nothing but upcycled trash that he’s scavenged from only the finest of scrap heaps, together with a few tools, it all comes together into a working chip separator that is sized specifically for a wet/dry vacuum. What he didn’t realize was that his chosen piece of finely aged sheet steel was actually 16 gauge, instead of the recommended 24 gauge which is less than half as thick. It takes a lot more work to hammer and form this thicker steel.
The design credit goes to Bill Pentz. The XLS spreadsheet that was used to get the dimensions for this build is found on his website:

There’s no need to own Microsoft Excel in order to open and use this spreadsheet. LibreOffice works just as well. It is open source and available for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

Muy bien explicado y como haces frente a el trabajo aunque no tengas las herramientas adecuadas , no te detienes y sigues hasta el final. Muy educativo gracias.
