Hey I’m 14 and I just bought my first boat it’s a ten foot Jon boat and I’m going to use in saltwater I’m not going very far so I don’t need a two stroke or anything like that I want a back trolling motor for it but I don’t know how big or what kind I need definitely need somthing pretty powerful do you know any recommendations? Thanks
To answer your question, a 55lb is the best you'll get for a trolling motor. With that being said, be extremely careful going anywhere with a 10ft. You mention saltwater, does that mean offshore?
@ no sir we have a house on a canal and I’d just be going right off that but need somthing that can handle a little bit of wind I’d mainly be fishing flats close to our house
