Thank you for the comment and suggestion. I leave tomorrow and we have been so busy teaching that I have not been anywhere else on this trip except La Barra GC and Cantegril CC. From my past experiences visiting Uruguay, there are very few golf resorts. Maybe only 13 courses in the whole country. That being said, La Barra is open to the public, and their is Fasano Golf resort here in Punta del Este. Also In Colonia del Sacramento, which is the other end of the river, You have Carmelo Golf Resort, and a Sheraton resort. The Sheraton is only 9 holes I believe. Most of the other courses tend to be private. Shoot me a PM if you want more info. Thanks again.
