That’s so nice, that they made it so accessible, looks like you all enjoyed it. And lovely the dancers and out to talk with people. May more places do this.
Maybe you can reduce the biting by giving Alastair a lollipop (e.g. a Tootsie Roll Pop). I sometimes suck on those when I get stressed out (e.g. during tax season). Candy Canes (in various flavors) are also an option. If he does eat these then he will need to brush and floss regularly. To reduce tooth decay you can also give him lollipops that are sugar free and might even improve dental health. Some drug stores or grocery stores sell these on or near the toothpaste and mouthwash aisles. If those are not options then chewing gum might be an option if Alastair won’t try to swallow it.
Truly amazing performance! ❤️ I hope to see more of this cultural arts flourishing for many children with autism spectrum disorders in Korea. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of advanced culture from the United States through this video.
@handle1189 i hope so too as I also wanna to to south korea someday! I love their culture especially their gamers culture and some of my favorite professional gamers are from there!
Your boys seemed 2 do great. Someone may have been a bit wound up, but it's the holidays & everything's exciting!! Happy Holidays & hope 2 see more of you soon!!
Your really lucky you can find somewhere for your kids to go where they don't get weird looks or get judged , because I went out food shopping for Christmas today and people kept staring at me when I was trying to be myself and I couldn't deal with it I just wanted to go home.😔😭
I am terribly sorry some people can really judge you and don't even understand your story. I've had judgement before just trying to be myself but trust me don't let judgement get to you. You are a great person whoever you are!!
I can relate. When I was 5 my family was going to Indiana for vacation and they refused to let me on the plane because I have autism. My parents had to reschedule the entire trip and never disclosed my disability out of fear that I would get discriminated again.
Aw , all the boys did awesome. Thanks for sharing I hope you and mom had a great time. Alister looked great in the snowflake sweater and so did Ian in the dinosaur sweater and loved conners whistling. 😘
This is amazing and what a performance! I remember a few years ago at north american brass band championships there were some sensory stuff there that people with autism or adhd could use so they dont feel too nervous about the loud performances (I was a performer at the time, still am :) but yeah with my adhd im used to the noise so i didnt need it) Merry Christmas Autism Family’
What my Mom used to do if I felt overstimulated, or I just didn't feel that great. Should always bring my noise cancelling headphones and I would use them, and I'll just play with a fidget toy, and I felt quite stressed It works really well!!
I saw the nutcracker many times and will go on Christmas Eve again this year. My dad and I will both see it because before he was playing in the Nutcracker (Trombone) and I played some excerpts from the nutcracker in Youth Orchestra at our Christmas concert last weekend. I also play Trombone.
I honestly don't really like loud places especially when the there's overcrowded with people and loud noises everywhere, it makes me feel uncomfortable, but I'm glad to see that the boys are doing a great job!
When I was filming elevators and escalators in public to be uploaded on my channel, even when I filmed an elevator today, nobody judged me, they care about my elevator and escalator interest. When I was talking to myself in public, I was questioned weirdly. Merry Christmas, and happy holidays to all of you!
I talk to myself constantly too. Even in Public and I also talk to my Imaginary friends and siblings a lot. One of my special interests is highways and seeing urban roads become township roads and highways. But I have a friend with pretty moderate autism who loves elevators.
Was the Nacho Libre moment intentional on the part of Connor in the moment, or was it just a clever reference by Dad in the editing room? It made me chuckle. I love that film.
Children cannot consent to being filmed. It is really exploitative to film kids regardless of their medical diagnoses, but it's even more gross to do so when they are more vulnerable. When they are adults, how will they feel about their own parents filming them without their consent? I would never dream of filming my own children for clicks and likes. They are entitled to privacy and dignity. As parents, it is our duty to ensure they are safe and respected and their life experiences not shared with the entire world. If you wanted to "help" other parents, write a blog or make a website. This is seriously unethical.
They’re all totally ok with this. And plus they don’t film every part of their lives. Just some parts. They still have their own lives outside of RUclips.
That one dancer talking to Alistair is so wonderful with him!
I wish there were more autism friendly public places. Happy holidays to you all.

We use all types of chew necklaces, brackets etc. They have been amazing for us

Merry Christmas guys!!! That is so cool that they have things like that where you can go and be yourselves without judgement ! Love you all ❤
I can’t believe the boys got to talk to the performers! I almost never get to talk to any performers.
What a wonderful family time! The boys are looking great! Precious moments with your beautiful family.

@@neilrocks84roblox19 Yeah I enjoy all those too.
Never force a child to go to the ballet, especially an autistic kid
They wanted to go...not sure where you are coming from there.
Ian wins the Christmas sweater contest
Very nice. 👏👏
I was in the nutcracker
Hope you have a merry Christmas and a happy new year in 2024❤🎄🎄

Welcome back the friendly autism place i go to is thrift stores build a bear church friends house and panda express

Connor was just smiling, but when I was editing I thought it looked like Nacho’s grin, so I added that in 😄
I get overexcited then burnout which I think allister was dealing with
What is the best place that you guys have been to before ?
We love the redwoods 😉
i dont even like being IN THE SPOT
was that nacho libre? Forgive my lack of cinema awareness if not
It was 😂
I remember when I went to my first nutcracker and I didn't like it when the Canon went off
Fortunately they didn’t do the canon on this one. Pretty smart considering the audience 😁
Why wasnt ian there? I have 4 little siblings with cognitive disabilities and I hope someday we can go somewhere without a meltdown

Allistar plays geometry dash world. He wins. He gets rich and famous.
Allister I am 34 and bite my finger unfortunately no guarantees it will just go away

What level of autsim do your kids have im curious
