i feel the same way, its like I am a completely different person, however Bill explains why this is the case, the first phase in the stuttering cycle is the anticipation of difficulty and this is what trigger the effort to try hard which causes the valsalva mecahnism to occur

I feel like stuttering is mostly psychological. When i read out loud when im alone, im completely fluent but when im with one other person i cant even finish a paragraph without stuttering.
