Ravi bhai .. I have 3 Fiat Linea .. 2 Diesel and 1 Petrol/ CNG .. Aaj bhi diesel over 20kmpl average deti hai in city and CNG gives about 175 km in 9 kg .. I'm supremely happy with Fiat .. Aao kabhi video banane ..
I also have FIAT Punto 2011 Petrol model. After 8 months, the engine mounting broke at 90kmph and then engine fell down at that speed on the shield below. The shield saved the engine and the car from toppling over. The job of shield is to protect the engine compartment from foreign objects. Who would have thought that it can support the engine weight at such speeds. A robust and very well engineered car.
On other occasion, a fork lift in my office yard accidently lifted my car just from the front bumper upto 3 feet and then the car slid and dropped back. The bumper was bent only 1.5 inches. Still have that repaired bumper. Even the fiber used back in those days was sturdy.

It's such a shame that the owner will be forced to sell this car in 2 years, with no signs of rust, no mechanical problems.
How clean is Delhi's air today after banning 10 year old Diesel cars and 15 year old petrol cars?
In all other states you can keep your car as long as you want, after 15 years you can get it re-registered every 5 years.
Is the ban a RULE to improve air quality or is it a TOOL to force citizens to buy a new car and pay high taxes on it?
@@dieselpreetsingh9544 still no change it air quality in Delhi better if they have strict rule for old cars to pass norms of air pollution and car must be alteast with all lights and tyres brakes are good so safety is important
And even old cars has airbags so allow only those cars who has airbags in it

@@carobsessions4707 If the owner paid for a car with no airbags and at that time he was not told that this purchase can only be kept for 10 or 15 years then why should he sell it now after all it's his safety.
Only a fitness check should be mandatory that's it.

Such a well maintained car 👍...but the sad part is that he will be compelled to sale or scrap the car after few years ! Govt should instead bring out some other sustainable and citizen friendly alternate solutions !
I have been using Punto diesel since 2011, still going well. Mechanically very strong.
She is still look best looking gorgeous hatchback, even in comparison with current hatchbacks. And yes, Italian are different world in terms of driving pleasure. From the guy who is still driving 2002 Palio. Sheet Metal on Fiats are twice as thick compared to Japanese or Korean makes, making it twice heavy but ensuring full safety. Not a tin can

Bro when did u changed the timing belt and how much you spent during that time. Am a fan of fiat and other old cars. I bought hyundai getz for its smoothness and now wanted to buy a diesel fiat linea or punto but roughly all cars coming to sale are around 1lakh km and am worried is it worth to buy at that km. 2014 model punto version 2 rates 2.7to 3.5. My friend had Fiat Punto..His engine and ac compressor developed issues after sometime. Engine was fixed but fiat couldnt fix the ac compressor ever. People are now saying its a great car when at the time it was in India, were scared of buying it due to after sales support 😄😬

Palio was class apart… far far futuristic at his time. FIAT should have manufactured its parts locally then it would have still seen on roads. Still today also no other hatchback matches its power.

We Indians lost so many great cars by not supporting them, one of them is this car. Indians loved only Maruti and Hyundai in last 20 years, that’s the sad part. Look at the looks and build of this car, none of the current hatchback will beat this one. We lost Chevrolet, Fiat and Ford 😢 because of our obsession towards Maruti and Hyundai.
How did kia succeed when all went out . Service quality . Hyundai Maruti did that. Hyundai is good but Maruti is just eating our money. Fiat had worst service center and ford had expensive service and lack of service centre's. Chevrolet got only beat and Tavera which was sold ..Chevrolet don't have good quality body or interior. Hyundai has most cars around 1000kg even for hatch and Maruti has 850kg for swift Ritz etc. I had a getz it's weight is 1050kg and solid build ..sold good world wide but failed in India. Then came i20 sold like anything so Hyundai stopped its sales in India. Nissan had a worst approach of 3rd party service centre because that itself they are gone and now still hanging because of magnite sales. In Japan its most sold brand Nissan. First this is service availability of parts everywhere. Still honda and Toyota didn't get any good cars in hatch or under 15lakh. That's the only worry.

No doubt, built quality is robust, excellent driving dynamics, hydraulic steering is superb, Tijori on wheels at 1300Kg 😁. But... electricals are poor, power windows or sometimes dash panel LEDs blow away. Average is under 13 to 16 in city and not exceeding 20 on highways 100+ speed.
dont look at milleage when u have built quality ....................still its very good milleage

I'm A owner of Punto 1.2 fire ... My concern is what after it.. which car I go for as no one give pleasure the way Punto has given .
I have Linea Emotion 2009 model… till today only spare changed are…clutch plate, brake liner, oil chamber (was damaged due to bounce on stone), suspension (as old suspension was having low ground clearance)…. thats all. Still running very very impressive.
Clutch plates which brand you changed, i guess fiat parts not available, if maruti Swift clutch plates suitable for this

Suspension is superb I driven 2009 punto petrol havin avg. Of 13kmpl. Many suv's of current market will feel shame in front of punto.
