I don't get Louis, Claudia is like Lestat, cruel and manipulative, there's nothing much to choose between them. I suppose Claudia does have one thing in common with Louis, they're both whinny.

Claudia and Lestat will do what they want to get what they want. But They're not whinny at all. They're lonely.
Danbo Lestat is not a bad guy and he truely loves Louis but he is terrified of being alone and wants Louis to stay with him so he does some questionable things to get him to stay . plus in the second book we learn that Lestat like louis is lonely and he nèver had a choice in being a vampire .Magus kidnapped and then changed him against will and killed himself leaving poor lestat to teach himself how to survive so he did so . it wasnt really Lestat's folt that
I would choose Lestat over *shudders* Claudia. But them I think Lestat was one of the most shockingly plesing characters ive ever come across! But make it choosing between Armand and Lestat And i have a major problem!
