Thank you for clarifying my doubts about when to proceed on Gaumukh Tapovan Trek. This year in early March 2020, I went with my 11 year old daughter on Brahmatal Trek organised by Indiahikes. I’m definitely game for Gaumukh Tapovan Trek in September 2021.

Hmm, it's a bit risky. The upper sections of the trek, beyond 13,000 ft will have winter snow already. The season to do the trek ends by three third week of October

Gaumukh Tapovan is a beautiful Summer and Autumn trek.
Unfortunately, you cannot do this trek in the monsoon as it poses too many risks. The trail remains shut throughout monsoon and opens up in Mid-September again.

No Amit. You cannot do Gaumukh in February. The best time to do the trek is in summer mid-May to end of June. While in autumn it can be done from mid- September to end of October
