Intel or AMD For Your Home Server | GMKtec NucBox M6 and K9 Comparison and Review

We're comparing two GMKtec NucBoxes to see which is the better system, both for performance and value. The NucBox M6 has the AMD Ryzen 5 6600H processor, and the K9 has the Intel Ultra 5 125H processor. Both systems have 32 gigabytes of DDR5 SODIMM memory, 1TB NVMe SSDs, and dual Realtek RTL8125 networking. We tested them in a variety of games and benchmarks, as well as went over some homelab use cases, as they're both great systems.

The M6 had a huge pricedrop recently. I got one and happy with it. Just make sure to update the BIOS because out of the box, the fan runs very aggressive (noisy) even on light loads.
